Living in a dry climate it is hard to start a new compost pile. I had been working on some kitchen and yard waste with no luck. A few weeks after adding this stuff, there was a dramatic improvment in my compost! Would definately order it again.

Am new at composting and noticed I was not getting much of a reaction this winter. After using Ringer, compost got warm even with outside temps of 40 degrees. Loving it. I only wish the box was larger.

I use it to augment heat in a small electric composter which speeds up the compost process in winter when the temperature in my garage drops.

I have a 4x4 bin of leaves,twigs,garden waste and some soil. I sprinkle on about a cup for every four to six inches of material.
So far there is no odor and the pile is decreasing but it does not seem to be getting hot.I am turning every week or two.
Its easy to use
It is expensive and I may need more than the one box for this pile.
