        The pots were overall larger than I had expected as I had not accounted for the extra height for water storage. I am not sure how I will tell how much water is in the base as their is no indicator.

              With this self-watering pot I don't have to water the plant as often--I live in a hot-summer area, so otherwise I'd have to water the pot every day. I can go away for a few days and not worry about any plant suffering.
