Versatile Metal Raised Bed Sets Up in Ten Shapes

  • A modern and stylish take on traditional galvanized trough planters
  • Assemble the bed in one of ten shapes
  • Create a long, narrow planter to use as a privacy screen
  • How much soil? Use the Soil Calculator to figure out how much you need for this raised bed

This eye-catching raised bed is made from extremely durable Zincalume® steel with Colorbond coating so it lasts up to four times longer than regular galvanized steel. Assemble the bed in one of ten shapes. For example, create a long, narrow bed, and then fill it with tall plants like upright ornamental grass or bamboo to create a "living fence" and visual barrier between you and your neighbors or an unsightly view. At 15" high, the bed requires less bending and stooping when you're planting or weeding. Arrange multiple beds to create a pleasing and productive garden landscape. The no-tools-assembly kit includes hardware plus plastic protective edging for the top edge.

Super Easy!

Comments about : 10-In-1 Modular Raised Bed:

I put this together without any difficulty by myself in under an hour. It is very intuitively designed. I used the included picture guide and made the trapezoidal shape with one piece left over. I placed it against a wall and have filled it with tons of herbs and vegetables. The instructions say it takes 7 cubic feet of dirt to fill it but I used a bit more and it's still 4" from the top rim. I wish it came in others colors. It holds moisture well in my dry climate

Comments about : 10-In-1 Modular Raised Bed:

Looked daunting at first, wish assembly inst. for different styles were better explained. Once you get going, it's fairly simple to put together. The end result was just as I was expecting.

Comments about : 10-In-1 Modular Raised Bed:

I picked one of the 10 shapes and didn't realize that one wouldn't work for me. Give yourself a visual way of seeing your choice before your poor husband puts it together only to have to disassemble and start over!

Comments about : 10-In-1 Modular Raised Bed:

I was able to get rid of several large pots with this space saving bed. I modified it by securing a 2"x10" board underneath the bed, drilling several drain holes in the board. This modification let me place the bed directly on my deck.

Comments about : 10-In-1 Modular Raised Bed:

It is a great design and made of quality components and materials. I also like the extra height, which will make the harvest a lot easier. Now I do not have to worry about the plants ever having too much water. The raised beds were originally purchased for growing pole beans and climbing snap peas. I simply used the 4 upper mounting screws and attached a 1x6 piece of wood, to which I place "Eyes" about 6" apart. Directly above the planter is the overhang on my garage, which I added "Eyes" 8" apart. I then ran nylon string between the "Eyes" creating a lattice effect, for the beans and peas to attach. So far so good, I only have to wait and water. I should also say that in the space not used I planted radishes and carrots.

              Dirt filler

Comments about : 10-In-1 Modular Raised Bed:

My question is: Do you fill the entire container with soil? Could you fill the bottom 1/2 way up so there's not so much soil to be heavy and collect a lot of water? Just seems a waste of soil.
