Comments about : Twine Vegetable Trellis:

So my trellis looks great and adds space to my small planters. To get the twine nice and tight requires significant effort and a little experience of tying knots. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied.

This trellis was easy to put together. The twine will make it easy to clean up at the end of the season. I only wish that it came with stakes.

    • Great For Climbers

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • Cucumbers

Comments about : Twine Vegetable Trellis:

I bought another for next summer. This summer I used my first one for slicing cucumbers. Next summer I will use the other for pickling cucumbers. There is enough space under the A frame for onions to get a good start and be successful, so no wasted space.

      good idea, needs refining

      By school garden lady

      from long island new york

      Pros

      • Easy storage
      • Sturdy frame

      Cons

      • Time-consuming To String
      • Unstable

      Best Uses

Comments about : Twine Vegetable Trellis:

Nice folding trellis -- but why does it have no feet?? The bottom support rests flat on the ground and will probably rot . Also, with no feet to dig into the soil I needed to use earth staples to anchor. I bought six for a school garden and strung each with a different color of twine from the twine gift pack -- fun to look at, but time-consuming to string. Almost all trellises were sturdily made and easy to put together, but one had a piece with the holes drilled backwards -- the hooks were on the wrong side. So far they are holding a variety of vining plants very nicely, including some thick, vigorous gourds. Have not seen them tested yet by wind or end-of-season fruit weight.
