Exclusive | Wire A-Frame Trellis Sturdy Enough for Squash!

  • Heavy-duty wire trellis is perfect for cucumbers, squash, peas, and flowering vines

This matte black wire trellis nearly disappears when it’s covered with vining plants. Whether you use it in a raised bed or in-ground garden, it will provide no-nonsense, heavy-duty support. Each side is 17-3/4" W x 58" H; grid openings are approx. 6" x 8" to make harvesting easy. Set up several side by side to create a long, A-Frame tunnel to support two rows of peas, cukes or squash.

I have 4 of these trellis structures and I use them for cucumbers every year. I like them because I can use just one or all four depending on how I am configuring my raised bed garden(s)-they also fit in my Vegtrug which is handy. They don't take much room to store when the season is over either. My one complaint is the the hardware is not stainless and will rust but, that was an easy fix to make.

Using it for cucumbers this summer and so far, so good...cucumbers are climbing up and keeps the cukes off the ground. My raised bed is very narrow but still fit with no problem.

I used this as a trellis for cucumbers. I may have planted too many plants (6), but they quickly overwhelmed the trellis and I had to add additional creative supports for the vines. I also broke one of the tack welds when I placed it in the garden (maybe I was not careful, but...).

I only have 4 cucumbers plants in my raised beds and I put each trellis between two plants. They are climbing beautifully and the fruit is off of the ground.

I love this trellis. A little narrow, so I had to buy 2 for my small bed of sugar snap peas, but they look great and have held up to all the winds and thunderstorms we get in MO. I was looking for something that wouldn't just fall over, and that would last from one season to the next. Glad I picked this one.
