          Comments about Whitefly Traps:

I live in Naples, FL where we garden year round. I just started my vegetable garden in the raised trugs and thought I would give these a try. I was initially happy with the insects it was trapping until the second day of use a live lizard whose complete underbody from throat to the tip of his tail was stuck on it. I was finally able to free it without ripping its skin off but the glue that adhered to his body made him unable to move. I took him inside and washed him three times with a mild soap which didn't remove it completely but removed enough to give it the ability to walk. Not worth making another live creature suffer including birds and butterflies so I will not use or purchase these again unless for indoor purposes only.

I have these tiny gnats, or fruit flies all over the house that drive me nuts. So I put up one of these cards in every room that has a problem. I'm always amazed at the number of bugs that are caught on it.

              Comments about Whitefly Traps:

These technically aren't for controlling pest populations, but I've found that using a few in a garden plot with a real bug problem (flea beetles in the potato patch) seems to have helped. They're also effective for their intended use: indicating what pests are active in an area. I also like very much that these are totally non-toxic.

                Comments about Whitefly Traps:

Don't toss out those beautiful house plants if they get fungus gnats. These sticky traps take care of the problem.

Handle them with care, or they'll stick to you, but they do a great job of removing bugs from your interior garden.

These sticky squares do not get ALL the swamp nats at out house next to a wetland. However they are the most effective measure I have found.

                    Comments about Whitefly Traps:

I have used these traps a few times when the potted plants in my office became colonized by white flies (an occasional side-effect of leaving my door propped open to the outside in nice weather). NOT having white flies constantly drifting into peoples' faces is hugely important in my office setting. These traps worked very well at eliminating the infestation within a few days, and stayed effective for a long time so I was able to keep the extras stored and bring them out when needed.
