        Comments about Vegetable Trellises:

This is a nice trellis and it was easy to put together. However, the description failed to mention that the bottom stakes are 36 inches wide, making it unusable for my containers. I've got it gerry rigged to another trellis for support, but the whole reason I got it was to make my garden look a little less gerry rigged. It will do for this year, but I'll be looking for other solutions for next year.

          Comments about Vegetable Trellises:

I use the vegetable trellis that I bought from gardeners.com to grow native honeysuckle vines (lonicera sempervirens 'Major Wheeler') on a 6 ft wooden fence. The trellis does a great job supporting the vines and I leave the trellis in place all the time even over the winter. You can hardly see the trellis once the vines cover it. I bought two more for my trumpet vines (campsis radicans) that i also wish to grow on the fence for the hummingbirds. I am very happy with this trellis, it is sturdy, tall enough for a 6 ft fence, simple design, and exactly what I wanted.

                Comments about Vegetable Trellises:

Last year I bought the 72" trellis and inserted it into the Terrazzo Trough Planter for a clematis. The trellis is holding up fine, and I like the effect so well that I recently bought another planter and trellis for another clematis.

The box the trellis came in was pretty beat up when it arrived and the end stake came off when I opened the box. I was hoping to use it for my cucumbers but it doesn't look like it will hold much weight, maybe it can be used for beans.

I thought this came with the pot shown in the picture. Had I know it didn't, I wouldn't have ordered it. After opening it, I realized it was not exactly a good value.

I have purchased a total of 5 Vegetable Trellises over the years for my school garden and looking to purchasing more! They are the perfect size in front our classroom windows. We have grown spectacular crops of pole beans and sugar snap peas. We are in a coastal location and the trellises still look new. They come apart easily to store and reassemble quickly. Great design!

This trellis worked well in my raised garden containers. I have a small area of peas which needed support. The only problem I had was that the trellis was not high enough. The good news is that it is very sturdy.

                    Comments about Vegetable Trellises:

We bought two of these trellises to support a blackberry and raspberry bush that are planted next to the side of the house. We didn't want anything difficult to install or take down, and nothing very big or obvious. These were easy to assemble and stick down through the rubber mulch. They lean nicely against the siding but prevent the bushes from growing against the house, and allow them some air circulation.
