Additional Information

Nearly Invisible Trellis Netting

  • Translucent mesh netting supports climbing flowers and vining vegetables
  • Can easily be cut with scissors to any size
  • Strong and UV-stabilized for years of use

We love this trellis netting because it's unusually strong, it's UV-stabilized for years of use, and it has 6-inch square openings to make harvesting easy. Best of all, it's made of translucent polypropylene that is practically invisible when installed. Perfect for a pea fence or bean trellis. 6-1/2' x 30' roll.

BOUGHT TO SUPPORT TWO NEW CLEMATIS AGAINST WHITE DOG EAR FENCE. SIMPLY UNROLLED, CUT TO DESIRED SIZE AND STAPLED TO WOODEN FENCE. INVISIBLE DUE TO AGAINST WHITE FENCE BUT WOULD BE VISIBLE AGAINST DARKER COLORS. CLEMATIS ARE CLIMBING NICELY WITH BUDS NOW FORMING AND I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL IT FLOWERS!

      Comments about Nearly Invisible Netting:

Being unable to find a hemp or cotton netting in this size, I decided to try the plastic netting for my Rattlesnake Runner Beans which often reach 8 feet in height. It works beautifully and lasted 3 years (in the garden) before needing to be replaced. While I would prefer a more eco friendly product, this is a good alternative for my particular use.

          Comments about Nearly Invisible Netting:

Hello, I just received this so I cannot speak to the durability or whether it will be reusable for next season or not. It looks like it will be fine since it is so late in the season this year. I purchased this to give my clematis something to hang on to as I recently learned the vine does not wind around the trellis it is the tiny leaf stem that needs something small to grab. I am a little surprised it is not clear like fishing line as I expected when it is advertised as "nearly invisible". It is vivid white in color so it does show over my bricks and the black trellis, but hopefully it will be a blanket of flowers next year which is my goal. I would have used fishing line except I found it does break down in sunlight over time so I decided to give this a try. Ask me again next fall when I have a better idea of its performance. :)

Good Product. I thought the netting would be more clear but it is white and kind of thick. Other than that it's a good product

            Comments about Nearly Invisible Netting:

I have clematis growing against 2 white vinyl privacy fences. The Home Owners Association said no trellises. The netting fit easily on the corner posts and could be tacked to the ground. Problem solved. Since it is folded in thirds, then wrapped up, the unpacking can be tricky but worth the effort.

This is durable but I found it difficult to use and so white it shows up from the road in front of my house. I obviously bought the wrong product for my intended use.
