Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:

Used these to stake a rose tree. Love how soft they are and the solidness of them, but they just don't lock into place very well.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:

I bought these stakes several years ago, but the grips were so popular that they were out of stock at that time. Having been a Gardeners Supply customer for many years, in good faith I ordered the grips anyway. I received them in a reasonable amount of time and found them so useful that I have reordered several times!! Apart from many uses outside, I keep some in my utility drawer for things like fastening cords from appliances, electronics, etc. when "twistums" are too short or flimsy. One of the most helpful uses in the fall is connecting a couple of grips together and using them to secure my hoses when I bring them in. I keep finding new uses for the grips so I hope GS never quits selling them, even if they don't re-stock the stakes. Taller stakes would be useful though, too.

Looks beautiful and strong but I've had it for a very short time only, so it is impossible to tell now how it will hold up to the elements (whether or not it will rust or bend due to strong winds).

The tree stake is sturdy and will do the job to get my smaller trees started. I wish they had taller ones available too.

I've got several new trees of various heights. I love these as they are very attractive and sturdy. I'll keep these in place as long as the tree needs support. They do not detract from the landscape.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:

These tree stakes are very easy to install and look much more attractive, staking my crape myrtle trees, than the ugly wooden poles I bought at the nursery.

Most stakes are utilitarian but rather ugly. This stake is very functional but also looks good.

I purchased two tree stakes with the grips to balance my wind spinner. I wanted black so that it matched and added to the garden decor Also the grips are a nice thickness and flexible ... both totally functionally and visually exceeded all expectations!

I was disappointed when I got these. They are very small and not very sturdy for the new tree I was hoping to stake with them. The label on them say plant stakes not tree stakes.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:

I have a small new tree near my entryway that I'm trying to straighten and am so glad that I found this stake. It is so pretty while still doing its job! Before the grips were available, I tried other methods to secure the tree to the stake, but none worked or looked very well. I was so glad when the grips came as they are simple to use, very functional, look good & won't hurt the tree, although I did wrap the tree first anyway. (I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my plants & trees!) The stakes would be very useful in other sizes and perhaps had one or 2 more places on them to secure the grips without slipping. I wish I had ordered more grips before they went out of stock again, as I have found many uses for them around the yard. I am an avid birder and used one grip to secure a feeder in a tree as they seem very strong. I also combined 2 to hold up a falling clematis. Hope they keep making them & also in different sizes & widths. A very good way to recycle rubber!!
