Comments about Transplant Mix, 30 Qts.:

I have used transplant mix for many years for transplanting seedlings to containers kept under lights until ready to plant outside. I also use it for African Violets and other houseplants which require a light soil mix, sometimes mixing it with other firmer soil mixes.

Comments about Transplant Mix, 30 Qts.:

I will be looking for a different transplant mix after this year. I have been using your Transplant mix for years and every year, the quality just keeps getting worse with more sticks, twigs, large clumps of peat, stones. I have to spend more and more time picking these out as they will damage my seedlings. It's now just a very expensive potting mix that I won't continue to pay for.

Comments about Transplant Mix, 30 Qts.:

I used this product to plant my original seeds then added more when I transplanted my vegetable plants to a my larger containers I purchased from Gardeners. Then after I transplanted them outside, I added a fine layer of this on top and my new plants are thriving. Recommend highly!!!

Follow directions that are given and the results will be as expected. One of the best products I have used. A little pricey but the results are worth the additional cost. Would recommend to anyone wanting to transplant seedlings before hardening off and moving to garden.

I like the fact that it doesn't take much water to mix with it. I don't like the bigger sticks in it.

Comments about Transplant Mix, 30 Qts.:

I use the transplant mix to fill 4x4 pots or larger with the mix, I like to add a bit extra worm castings and some kelp meal. I fill the pot to an inch from th etop, then put coco coir on top of that. I make a 1 inch crater and put two tomato or pepper seeds in and cover a quarter of an inch, this saves extra work and resources transplanting one or more times. My plants have always done well with this mix, very healthy and strong.

I use this mix to transplant all my new seedlings, in 6 pack trays, pots and hanging baskets. Never had any issues with this blend. My last purchase I found a yellow strip of texture tape in my mix about 4 inches long. A little disappointed in that but again until that one thing I have never had any issues and love the mix. Will still buy in the future.

Comments about Transplant Mix, 30 Qts.:

For several years, now, it has been nearly impossible to purchase a quality potting soil, anywhere. This soil is light and fluffy, with excellent water retention. Perfect for small seedlings that are transplanted on. There are no forest products, such as sticks or stones in the mix. Peat moss, perlite, vermiculite and limestone are the main ingredients, so it is perfect as is, but if you like to mix your own transplanting soil, it is no problem to add your own ingredients to the mix and you end up with a really great soil to start your plants off right.
