Exclusive | Extra-Tall Tomato Cages Support Your Tallest Tomatoes

  • Super-sturdy cages keep your tallest tomato plants upright for a bigger, cleaner harvest
  • Big, 8" square openings make harvesting easy
  • Hinged panels fold flat for compact storage
  • Set of 2

You asked us for taller tomato cages and here they are! Our heavy-duty, powder-coated steel Tomato Towers are much taller and stronger than old-fashioned cone-shaped supports, ready to support your biggest indeterminate tomato plants. The towers support plants on all sides (no tying needed) and keep plants up off the ground for better air circulation, cleaner fruit and fewer diseases. Large openings make harvesting easy, and the towers fold flat for off-season storage. 53" high installed. In windy locations, we recommend anchoring these towers with our Extra-Tall Earth Staples, sold separately.

Comments about : Tomato Towers, Set of 2:

The problem I've found with tomato cages is that they never fit my incredibly enthusiastic tomatoes. The same holds true for these cages: almost perfect but not quite. This cage is a good height, and I appreciate the built-in deep stakes to keep it from toppling over. I like the coating to keep it from rusting, too. However, my sungold and early girl tomatoes have completely overwhelmed their cages and are bursting out all over the garden. It's difficult to get to the tomatoes that are within the bottom part of the cage because there's so much vegetation squished in there. Meanwhile, my beefsteak and better boy tomatoes seem to be well-contained and the cages seem to be a good size for them. But even the beefsteak tomato plant has a pretty wide base of operations, almost too wide for the cage. If this cage were 8-12" bigger on all sides, it would be perfect. Right now, it's only almost perfect. I'll use them in the future for the smaller tomato plants, but I'll be shopping for bigger cages for my crazy sungolds and early girls.

Comments about : Tomato Towers, Set of 2:

For years we have used stakes for our tomatoes. After discovering these towers, we will never go back. They are tall and sturdy, easy to put together and then to take apart and store flat. We love them. And the choice of colors is fun too.

    Great tomato cages!

Comments about : Tomato Towers, Set of 2:

These are great. Strong, sturdy, easy to assemble. They go far enough into the ground that they don't tip over when the plants get large. These are pricier than the flimsy cages you can get at the garden center, but you will not regret the money spent after you see them in your garden. I love them.

I've never seen any better cages. These are very sturdy, tall, easy to put together. They go far enough into the ground that they don't tip over when the plants get large. They do cost a lot more than the cheap ones at the garden centers. But you will not regret your purchase after you see them in your garden. I love them.
