Exclusive | Extra-Tall Tomato Cages Support Your Tallest Tomatoes

  • Super-sturdy cages keep your tallest tomato plants upright for a bigger, cleaner harvest
  • Big, 8" square openings make harvesting easy
  • Hinged panels fold flat for compact storage
  • Set of 2

You asked us for taller tomato cages and here they are! Our heavy-duty, powder-coated steel Tomato Towers are much taller and stronger than old-fashioned cone-shaped supports, ready to support your biggest indeterminate tomato plants. The towers support plants on all sides (no tying needed) and keep plants up off the ground for better air circulation, cleaner fruit and fewer diseases. Large openings make harvesting easy, and the towers fold flat for off-season storage. 53" high installed. In windy locations, we recommend anchoring these towers with our Extra-Tall Earth Staples, sold separately.

I've used the shorter version for years. So much better than the flimsy version available elsewhere, these don't tip over even when the tomato crop is bountiful.

The only thing I've found tall enough for tomatoes. I now own 8! Last year I had a huge yellow grape tomato that was over the top of it and fell back more than halfway down the side...it was leaning by seasons end but still held. This time I'll use the extra long garden stakes on it if I have a monster plant like that one.

I have used and purchased many tomato cages over the years. None have worked. This cage is strong, attractive, easy to assemble and then to store.

I have not yet been able to use my tomato cages, but they are heavier than what I have been able to purchase locally. I look forward to getting to use them this year with the tomatoes I will be planting.

Comments about : Tomato Towers, Set of 2:

Several years ago I bought tomato towers and have used them very successfully. They are mainstays for my tomatoes. That's why I ordered 2 more towers a couple of weeks ago. The new ones arrived yesterday and I pulled out one to set up in my garden. What a surprise! The corners of the darned thing repeatedly popped out of place when I pushed the assembled tower into the soil. When the corners popped out, the top part of the tower also came off its posts and had to be reattached--repeatedly. Maybe that was because the metal sleeves on the top part of the tower that slip over the extended posts of the lower tower--thus making the full-sized tower--were split open on the sides and a bit loose. I hope they don't split further and allow the top to fall over. Compared to the old towers, these are prettier but poorly made. I'm very disappointed in the quality.

Just received 4 more towers. Last season tomato plants grew over 6 feet tall with these tower supports.
                      Great use of space.
