Exclusive | Our Heavy-Duty Tomato Ladders Hold Over 100 Pounds!

  • Each ladder can hold a huge harvest — over 100 pounds
  • Ladders cradle fruit-laden vines more effectively than stakes
  • V-shaped design protects each plant's main stem
  • Ladders nest for compact off-season storage

If you have a really big tomato crop this year, will your plant supports be able to handle the load? Our exclusive Tomato Ladders are the sturdiest you can buy, because they’re made with 7mm steel uprights — 20% thicker than others on the market! They’ll last season after season too, thanks to a weatherproof powder coating. Best of all, our Tomato Ladders are better for your plants. The rounded-V shape protects plants from wind and accidental breakage. The seven cradle-shaped cross-members give multiple places for vines to rest, and make it easy to set the ladders into the ground. Tomato Ladders will make the most of your garden space, reduce pests and disease, and give you a bigger harvest of juicy, unblemished fruit — guaranteed!

  • Powder-coated steel
  • Sturdy 7mm diameter upright supports
  • 6" W x 6" D x 57" H overall including 13" legs
  • Patented

Tomato Ladders

Pros

  • Very sturdy

Cons

  • Too narrow

Best Uses

We used them for the first time this year (for our tomatoes), and unlike standard tomato cages they stay put and don't topple over from the weight of the plants. However, our tomato plants were so big that we had to use three ladders per plant to contain the plant branches-- and still had to tie a few branches to the supports. Would love to see these made wider and with a 90 degree corner angle-- then you could put two together and form a heavy-duty square cage for the larger plants. Otherwise-- never had a sturdier plant support!

I now own 5 sets of these supports, I find them very sturdy and well made, I do a lot of container gardening and use them in oak barrels to grow squash, melons and cucumbers vertically, which really increases my growing space. it is a good idea to bring them in at the end of the season as the connections will rust and make it difficult to separate them. I plan on buying more!

I don't have to use grocery store ties to tie my tomato vines to plastic poles anymore! These "cages" are fabulous, as are the cucumber vine contraptions I ordered. They are built (and shipped) so fabulously that I know I'll have them for years...and they look great! Keep up the good work!

I have a small area which I garden organically. I've used these for several years because of the vertical statue. I grow heirloom tomatoes that are heavy; these supports have done well under the conditions. Some years a strong storm has caused them to lean over and bend the spikes in the ground, but my husband bent them back in place with his vise so I am able to still use them. The area where the two pieces connect for stacking the tower has rusted over time so now I leave them in their tall connected position even when storing. Overall a good product for a tough job.

These supports are strong, nice looking and tall enough to handle even my biggest Heirlooms ! Keep ordering more every time I try a new tomato.

Used for tomatoes. Very disappointed that the red color faded during the first summer of use. Now they are orange.

As my garden gets continually larger each year, I get more and more ladders. Simple to install, really effective, half the effort and time to tie back only if necessary. Funny tho' the red ladders didn't hold their paint and peeled after one season which left weak areas of rust. But the green are still going strong!
