Super-Sturdy Tomato Cages Support Heavy Yields

  • Extra-strong tomato cages keep tomato plants upright for a bigger, cleaner harvest
  • Big, 8" square openings make harvesting easy
  • Hinged panels fold flat for compact storage

Longtime customer favorites, our heavy-duty, galvanized steel tomato cages are taller, wider and stronger than old-fashioned cone-shaped supports. And unlike flimsier versions, these are strong enough to support full-grown vines loaded with tomatoes. The tomato cages support plants on all sides (no tying needed) and keep plants up off the ground for better air circulation, cleaner fruit and fewer diseases. Large openings make harvesting easy, and the cages fold flat for off-season storage. In windy locations, we recommend anchoring with our Extra-Tall Earth Staples, sold separately.

  • Steel Gray is galvanized steel; Red and Green are powder-coated steel
  • 14-3/8" square x 39" H including 7" legs; 32" H installed
  • 8" square openings
  • 10 gauge wire
  • Cages fold for easy off-season storage
  • Gardener's Supply Exclusive

I love these ! Because it's square it's very sturdy . The only thing I wish they would have done was make the four legs that stake in ground a thicker material .

I got these cages after my tomatoes had already grown quite a bit. Even then, I was able to finesse my tomatoes into the cages, and they are sturdy and easy to use. Bought more after I received my initial shipment.

          • Short Plants

I bought these cages for tomatoes. However, it's only 7/1 and the plants a very near the top of the cages and will soon go over the top. The product is a good one that just needs to be another 8-12 inches taller.

                  • Tomatoes

These are by far my favorite item at Gardener's Supply. I have bought several of them and always need more because I either give them away or find more uses for them (other than tomatoes!)

The wire gauge is much sturdier than anything I've found at local hardware/garden shops and the flat-fold design makes it so easy to store for the non-gardening months.

                  LOVE THESE!

These were easy to install and looked great. Unfortunatley at the end of the season we found that most of the welds had failed and we had to recycle 3 of the 4 cages. We were very disappointed with the quality.

Don't waste your money on cheap cone-shaped tomato cages that fall over. These do the job of supporting tomato plants, year after year. We have 5 of them in our garden and I wouldn't plant tomatoes without them.
