Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

We have a wooded 1/2 acre in downtown Colorado Springs. Lots of leaves. We were able to fit them all in the 3-style and we even had to move it to build the new garage. We were able to open one side and also to scoot it along to it's new resting place. This fall it's settled to 1/2 volume and in the center it's already compost. I bought another one. This thing is great.

Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

Several of the clips intended to hold the panels together broke, so the panels are now connected with wire.
Since there are fixed panels on all sides, accessing the compost for aerating and removal will be difficult.
I will reconfigure the bins by wiring the panels together, with open fronts, and oriented so that slats can be inserted and easily removed from the front for access.

    Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

Ten of the plastic clips broke as I tried to affix them to the wire cages. The plastic clips were either old or brittle. I had to tie the wire cages using my own plastic ties. One could just buy solid wire fencing and formed their own compost wire bins. The wire sides that make up the cages are good, solid wire fences.

This works great for leaves, brush and anything large. Once the compost gets finer you'll need to move it to something else or keep it away from the sides.

When putting this together, the clips used to attach each side together break quite easily... not as easy to put together as I thought it would be.

            Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

I purchased this product because we have more leaves than we know what to do with. I think it looks good and has excellent capacity. It's sort of easy to put together with one exception. The clips are plastic and the way they are designed really only allows for a 4-sided bin. Once you try to use the same clips for the two middle panels, the panels do not stay together. The clips require more spacing between in line panels. I had to use wire to attach the middle panels to the 2 boxes. This is a simple design problem that probably has a simple design solution. I would give 4 or 5 stars but for this because when you spend that much money on something you don't want to have to modify it for it to work well.

              Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

Our lawn tractor doesn't mulch the lawn, just blows the grass clippings all over. We got a grass catcher for it and these bins are perfect for throwing the grass clippings and leaves in one neat spot instead of a big ugly pile.

                  Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

I love these bins and have 10 of them. My one complaint on the 3 bin system is the clips to attach the bins together. They are very hard to use and to connect them to each other. I like the wire coils that come with the 1 bin system. I would think you could use them for the 3 bin system just as easily. With the clips it takes over 1 hr. to put together. Other than that I love them once they are together.
