like covering your garden with a kleenex

Pros

Cons

  • Fell apart immediately

Best Uses

Worst product ever! Total waste of money!!!!
This thing began shredding immediately upon being placed in the garden and barely lasted a few months before completely shredding to pieces. Went in the trash after a few months.
Seriously, it was like using a tissue for frost protection.

Fell Apart like a cheap paper towel

    Pros

    • Good idea

    Cons

    • Ridiculous Fabric

    Best Uses

I purchased these early last summer and within about 4 weeks with mixed rain, simple wind, and sunny days these were shredded to pieces...so many pieces it was difficult to get all of the pieces off my lawn. I only used to keep bugs off my veggies. The bases fit inside my reclaimed cedar planters (planters were a few inches too big on all sides) from bottom to about 6 inches up and were staked down with metal stakes provided (or purchased at the same time) and eventually with heavy duty yellow plastic tree stakes. This was a complete waste of money. My e-mails to customer service went completely unaddressed. I'm now out the cost of two. Very disappointed and hesitant to purchase other items. Unless they specify specific changes to fabric, it's likely I will trust other products.

      Pop-up Frost Protectors vanishing act

      By Linda

      from Virginia

      Verified Reviewer

I bought several of these pop-up frost protectors and they were worse than useless. After only 2 weeks they started shredding and after 2 months and snow they had completely disintegrated. Also, in even a slight breeze they would not stay on the beds even with all the tie down clamps. Due to their poor performance I have lost all my winter veggies plus the money I paid for them.

      • Great cover
      • Super easy

        Best Uses

Great protection for your seedlings against insects, rain, wind, and birds. So easy to set up and take down. No need to take off when watering or fertilizing.my seedlings have grown into beautiful plants that are already flowering way ahead of schedule.

          The pop up that doesn't

          By Wisconsin Fontanini Collector

          Verified Buyer

          Pros

          • Large

          Cons

          • Doesn't pop up
          • Just a large fabric
          • No frame to hold shape

          Best Uses

          • Frost blanket

Disappointed that this pop up is merely a cover with no shape and doesn't pop up at all. I have a smaller one that pops and expected this would since it is sold as a pop up.

          • GOOD IDEA BUT

          Cons

          • Disintegrated in 2 months
          • Not worth the money
          • Poor quality

          Best Uses

This is a great idea. But it fell apart in less than 2 months. The fabric disintegrated. It went in the trash. Don't waste your money.
