  • Sturdy, easy-to-use support for climbing peas and other vining crops
  • Keeps your harvest off the ground and away from pests and rot
  • Large openings make harvesting easy

Everybody loves fresh peas, but supporting them with poles, twine and netting can be a hassle. Our sturdy pea trellis is an easy solution. Each trellis has eight hinged panels with big 8" grids. Simply zig-zag the panels through your row of peas and push them into the ground (add a stake on each end in windy locations). Total length 9'-8" by 64" high installed. Trellises fold for easy off-season storage. Reusable year after year, and they can also support tomatoes as well as cucumbers and other vining crops.

  • Steel Gray is galvanized steel; Red and Green are powder-coated steel
  • 9'-8" L x 64" H installed
  • Trellises fold for off-season storage

Easy set-up helps get peas in early

      Pros

      • Easy Install In Garden
      • Fast setup

      Cons

      • A Little Charlie Chapln

      Best Uses

      • Green beans
      • Peas

I've owned a pair of these for a number of years, and just bought another pair. I have trellis 1 and 2 started with peas in April; in mid May, I plan to start trellis 3 and 4 with green beans. When the peas are done in June, I can plant trellis 1 and 2 with green beans. In late summer the process reverses: trellis 3 and 4 will be available for the first crop of fall peas, while trellis 1 and 2 will be available for the second crop of peas.

Although setup is easy and can be done by one person, putting the panels together is a little Charlie Chaplin. An extra pair of hands would make this easier.

These trellises are remarkably durable. I used a pair outdoors during the past severe winter, and they showed no signs of wear. I use them to hit the ground running in early spring because they are so easy to install.
