Great Back Saver

Comments about : Low Rider Swivel Scoot:

We had our pool converted to an 11 water fall water feature. It has flower beds and rock features on three side. It is fun to plant and maintain the flower beds but tough on the back!
The Low Rider Swival Scoot makes the task easy and fun. The seat height is adjustable and the Swival seat make it easy to access a wide area. When finished it that section just "scoot" with a push of your foot to the next.

Pros

  • Impressive quality of materials & construction!

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Comfort while working in raised bed garden.

Comments about : Low Rider Swivel Scoot:

When the scooter was unpacked, both my husband & I were impressed with the heavy duty materials & construction. We are just completing a new raised bed garden & this looks like it should be perfect for working in the beds.

Comments about : Low Rider Swivel Scoot:

Just what i have been looking for. A scoot that is low enough to work on low plants in the garden. Pruning also. Use it when I plant my planters. I have had the scoot just a very short time but it seems to be just what I wanted

Be careful that you don't land on ground

Comments about : Low Rider Swivel Scoot:

Although it's the right height and light to carry, you have to be careful that you don't slip off the seat and land on your tush on the ground. I've found that if I block the wheels with wood blocks, I can use it.

When kneeling is not an option!

Comments about : Low Rider Swivel Scoot:

I cannot kneel in the garden like I did when I was younger. This seat supports me and I can scoot around, low down and pull weeds from my third of an acre garden.
Nice to sit and look around at nature...

    Excellent scooter for my purpose

    By VeggieGardener

    from Seattle, WA

    Verified Buyer

    Pros

    • easy to assemble
    • low to the ground
    • solid construction
    • swivel seet

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • raised bed gardening

Comments about : Low Rider Swivel Scoot:

I love this scooter! I am smaller stature -- 5'4" and under 110lbs, so I have no problem staying in the seat and weeding my 8" raised gardens. They are 8' long and so I am not bothered by the fact that the wheels don't turn -- in fact staying straight is an advantage for me! I looked hard for a scooter that would go this low for exactly this purpose and am not disappointed.

Comments about : Low Rider Swivel Scoot:

good sturdy , but most important part is the wheels and they are plastice and too small to use in a regular garden. construction of seat is good, turning tippy , I feel off . this uni needs newly design bigger regular wheels and it and it would be great

Not what it is cracked up to be

          By Jerry

          from NJ

          Verified Buyer

          Pros

          • Sturdy

          Cons

          • Hard to get up after sitting in it.
          • Need front wheels that swivel like a wagon
          • Needs a strap or something to pull it with
          • Need to make seat go higher. But can't
          • Not light weight

          Best Uses

Comments about : Low Rider Swivel Scoot:

In house to get books off lower shelf or to work on low places. Actually better to use a kneeling pad than use this.
