Comments about : Suet Balls, Set of 10:

The balls fit well inside a hanging circular wire bird feeder. The balls are hard so they last longer. We attracted Flicker woodpeckers and the usual starlings. Interesting to watch the birds feed heavily before a winter storm.

A variety of woodpeckers are attracted to our feeder and the suet balls! This format for the feeder is efficient and not wasteful! Great design! You just have to mount them where the Bears can't reach them!

These balls look like they'd be loved by the birds that come to my feeder but I have no idea how to put them out on the feeder. If there a holder of some sort, I have not found it. Have not been able to put them out for the birds - yet.

Use this year round. Many birds that usually don't eed on suet will feed it to their hatchlings. These balls don't seem to attract squirrels.

I get this every year. I have put out other suet for my birds and they ignore it but flock to this one. Just put it where the squirrels can't get it. They like it too!

I use suet balls in a suet ball feeder. I seem to attract a lot of woodpeckers, flickers, blue jays & all my other birds. Unfortunately I also attract loads of sparrows that an eat 6 in one day.
