    Comments about Globe Cage Feeder:

I loved the design of this and was looking for something to keep the squirrels away from my birdfeeders. I also purchased several for Christmas gifts. It is very effective and the birds flock to it all day long. It makes a great gift as well; everyone was very pleased with it.

    Comments about Globe Cage Feeder:

This feeder is solid, well made and looks nice. The chickadees and nuthatches quickly found and are using it. It is easy to fill with seeds. I hung it from a tree branch on a light cable. Only problem I had was that the squirrels are able to open the cover so I had to use a small c-clamp to hold the cover on and keep the squirrels out.

Have two of these feeders. They have lasted longer than any other styles we have purchased. We live where the rain rusts out others, but not these.

            Comments about Globe Cage Feeder:

Bottom tray could be larger so less seed falls to ground. Here in Texas seed on the ground attracts mice, which attracts snakes, some are poisonous.
Internal seed column could be made of finer mesh wire to better hold thistle seed

                Comments about Globe Cage Feeder:

I love the design and the fact that larger birds and squirrels are prevented from getting the seed. However, what would have made this a GREAT product is an "umbrella" type cover at the top of the ball to protect the birds and the seed in stormy weather.

I use to fill my birdfeeders everyday and watch the bluejays bully the smaller birds away. Now the jays have to eat seed from the ground and the smaller birds have protection with in the globe. Love this feeder!

This is really a perfect bird feeder. It's easy to fill and squirrels are foiled by it. The only problem I had was a bear took the whole thing - and the branch it was hanging on.
I ordered 2 for this season and will wait until I am fairly certain the bear is hibernating!

This is one of the best feeders that we have every purchased. It is attractive, sturdy, easy to fill, and squirrels absolutely cannot get at the seed. It is in constant use by our resident chickadees, nuthatches, finches of all sorts, and even the occasional Downy woodpecker.
