disappointed...

By momdoc

mine are in a sunny spot, but they only stay lit after sunset for 2 to 3 hours, so by 10 pm when we really need them, they are completely out. unfortunately mine will likely end up in the landfill

Garden lights

By Gardenin' Granny

Pros

  • Nice looking

Cons

  • Half Of Them Don't Work

Best Uses

  • Around the garden

These lights are small, compact and look nice. There is a nice amount of light shed around them. I bought three sets of four and four (individual) lights do not work. May I sent those four back for four that will work? I did read the reviews of several before buying these and knew that some may not work. I thought I would have a solution by buying enough sets that if four of them didn't work they could be sent back for replacements.

Please tell me how to do that.

Cons

These small lights are perfect for outlining the flowerbeds along my driveway. They look nice during the day, too, and they really do give adequate light at night. I was skeptical about the solar power, but I'm now thinking of buying another set!

These are great! They look terrific in the garden at night. I love that they create some good lighting and yet they are small. We had other garden lights that were large and took over the garden. These are short and sleek. Love them. On thing I found - they need to be in full sun to work properly

      Waste of money!

Skip these and get better solar lights. Most products I buy from this website are great, but these solar lights were a waste of money and very disappointing.

      Bought another set

      By CoW

      from Foothills of Colorado

      Verified Buyer

I had already gotten a set of these solar garden markers and like them a lot. When I saw they were on sale, I bought more. As I mentioned before, for the very dark area I live, the light is brighter than I wanted. But others have said they aren't bright enough, so I guess it depends on what you want them for. Even on cloudy days they manage to collect enough energy to stay on for several hours in the evening. I like that they are small and unobtrusive.

      Perfect Update

These little lights were so inexpensive that I didn't have huge expectations, but I was wrong. They worked the first time I turned them on (after following directions and leaving them charged in the off position). They looked so great along the new path that my son and I installed, and gave his 1920's house a new updated look. As a gift, I was rewarded with a text from his partner that said they made her happy when she saw them...what could be better?

        Esthetically pleasing, inadequate light

        • Mark A Path

This item was intended to illuminate a path-way; instead, it can only mark a pathway as its location on the edge of the walkway provide sufficient lighting (there) and nowhere else. Its limitation is its size and and the bulb wattage. Had the price been more, it would have been a waste. Esthetics had been met, as it is.

        A little night light

        By JJ the gardener

        from St. Louis, MO

        Verified Buyer

I bought the solar lights to mark a dark area of my rear garden. The lights are attractive looking and charge quickly. Unfortunately, the lights stay on for about 6 hours - not very long.
