  • Easy to install without damaging branches
  • More attractive alternative to burlap
  • Secures snugly with drawstrings

ShrubJackets protect your shrubs from winter wind, snow, sunscald, and hungry deer as effectively as burlap, but they're more attractive, easier to install and secure snugly without breaking branches. Made from breathable, non-woven polypropylene fabric with a leaf motif that blends into the landscape; drawstrings at the top and bottom keep the cover in place. Includes storage bag.

    Comments about ShrubJacket Covers:

I found them to be too flimsy in a wind. I needed to use wood plant covers over them to keep them from blowing away. They need more ties to secure the cover in place and better drawstrings at the top and bottom.

My first year with this product. Already appreciates its neat appearance and wind resistance. So easy to install even around large shrubs (6 foot holly). Several severe windstorms have not disturbed its placement. Have told my gardening friends about this wonderful garden aid.

After a rough last winter, hope these help to protect my azaleas and new hydrangea and rhododendron. Hydrangeas did not bloom as all new canes had to come up.

          Comments about ShrubJacket Covers:

I bought your largest cover to protect a fig tree that freezes to the ground yearly. By the time it regrows, we get few figs before time to refreeze! The cover barely covers the core of the tree and had to be combined with a waterproof tarp to encircle the branches. It will hold leaves/straw.

I am using these covers on miniature blueberry and raspberry bushes to protect from the winter weather.

The small covers are the perfect size for young miniature bushes.

They aren't the easiest things to wrap and the cords can be difficult to use and work with.

                Comments about ShrubJacket Covers:

I am using these to protect a fig tree. I would feel better if there were some kind of lining to protect against cold as well as wind/animals. I also had to use two covers since a fig tree cannot get wet, and your tall cover is not waterproof at the top. But the second cover looks way better than a bucket!

                  Comments about ShrubJacket Covers:

We have not put the covers on yet, but will soon. Our shrubs are "babies" and the cover may have to be folded somehow to remain secure during nasty winter winds. They look as if they'll do the job. We had winter damage last year and thought of burlap, but will see how these work.

                  Comments about ShrubJacket Covers:

When I received the product I was very happy over the size of the product as it fit around my biggest and tallest shrubs. The protection covers lasted two months and deteriorated during these months. They ripped and fell off the shrubs in mid-march. I was very dissatisfied with the products. I am not sure if it was a defective product or not as all three covers ripped during the same week?

                  Comments about ShrubJacket Covers:

This is the 2nd season I have used these on my rose bushes and it will be the last. All of them have ripped in the wind. They are difficult to keep on the shrubs in high wind. I have replaced them once but won't again. Probably they are not the best wraps for rose bushes but I would not have expected them to breakdown as much as they done, so next time I'll wrap the roses with burlap.
