How Pop-Out Pots work

Starting from seed? Pop Out Pots are the secret to seedlings that are primed for explosive growth in the garden! Transplant young seedlings from seed starting trays into our self-watering Pop-Out Pots and they’ll grow so much larger and healthier. When it’s time to set plants in the garden, Pop-Up Pots also eliminate transplant shock. Simply lift the fabric capillary strips to “pop out” plants without disturbing roots.

We "thought like a plant" when we designed these pots and included features we knew would ensure the healthiest and happiest plants. We tested them in our in-house Garden Lab by starting tomato seeds in a cell pack, and then transplanting some of the seedlings into Pop-Out Pots. In just 2 weeks, the plants in the Pop-Out Pots were 40% larger, with healthier roots, stems and foliage!

The four large pots provide plenty of room for roots, and the capillary strips wick water from the reservoir all the way up the sides for consistent moisture. The result? Large, healthy plants that quickly acclimate to outdoor growing. Four 3-1/2" square pots plus self-watering reservoir tray.

Comments about : Pop Out Pots, Set of 4:

Because of the size, as my tomatoes grew I just kept adding soil. They now are approximately 8 inches tall and very sturdy. Also did not have to worry about watering. Getting ready to harden off and plant. Best results I have ever had starting tomatoes with the pots.

    Smart Choice!

    By Longarm

    from Kadoka, SD

    Pros

    • water balance and less transplanting

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • earlier start for tomatoes and peppers

Comments about : Pop Out Pots, Set of 4:

water balance and only the outside transplant. Earlier starts generate larger, healthier plants. Starting in a larger growing medium does away with another transplant before moving them outside AND without ruining the pot to get the plant out and into the ground.

Comments about : Pop Out Pots, Set of 4:

I ordered two sets for my windowsills.
they're packed well, and the instructions are clear.
These pots are sturdy and should last for a very long time.
The trays are a great size - the pots sit perfectly spaced because they sit snugly in molded indentions.
Capillary strips are good quality and again look like they will live up to claims they will last. I really like the design and the set is a good price. Highly recommend.

Comments about : Pop Out Pots, Set of 4:

I've been using the GrowEase seed starting system. It's great, too. But I have a small yard and mostly container garden and instead of starting 12 of any one plant, I'd start a variety of seeds. Getting individual starts out without stressing the root ball or other seedlings in the tray is challenging. All my problems are solved with the Pop Out Pots. I can start exactly the plants I want. The bigger pot means a bigger, more robust seedling. And when it's time to pot up or set out, the hammock makes the task a breeze. Just lift and peel for happy plants.
