Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:

I have an odd shaped back yard and garden space. For the beds to look like "they belong" they cannot be square. So I have used the adjustable corners to make a great garden space. I have been using these corners for several years, gradually adding to my garden as I make more space over the last 5 years. The first bed is still in excellent shape. I love these things. Only problem is that they don't do good at acute angles so I had to improvise on one bed. But my garden is so lovely now.

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:

This was my first time assembling a raised bed & I'm so thrilled with how it turned out with these pivoting connectors. This was just a regular garden (not veggies), but my yard is dense, old soil with lots of tree roots, so digging blow grade is back-breaking. This 8" raised bed turned out beautifully in a single day!

I used a combination of right-angle corners and these pivoting connectors and would STRONGLY suggest the pivoting, even for right angles. The pivoting connectors are two separate steel sections, with tubes that fit inside each other. This lets you lay all your boards flat, screw the hinged connectors to each end of the board, and then assemble. No need to try and attach the screws to the second board once it's upright and in place (as is the case with the corner-style connectors). This was a big deal for me, as I was assembling this on my own!

I will definitely buy more of these for future raised bed gardens.

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:

I discovered this product won't go below a 90 degree angle. I used this product for a garden renovation project. One side of the garden is on a slant. The Pivot Raised Bed Connectors are not designed for use at less than a 90 degree angle. Rather than have an angled end of the row at one end, my solution was to square the end of the row as shown in the attached photo. This meant I could not use some of the connectors I purchased. I will be returning them. The "Bottom Line" does not provide a way to respond in this situation. I would not recommend to anyone who needs to make a less than 90 degree connection.

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:

I had to slightly change my garden design because these did not "pivot" less than 90 degrees (needed 45), but it worked great between 90 and 180. Caution on boards - be sure to use really straight ones or be prepared to do a lot of sanding to fit. Once in these corners, the garden is very attractive and sturdy!

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:

We used this for an herb garden under a window that has a 45 degree angle on the corner of the house and tied it in with the raised bed that runs off the side of the house. It would have been helpful to know that separate stakes are required to secure it to the ground. We used two 2x6 stock for a 12 inch deep bed and the product comes with screw holes to accommodate that. It provides a nice clean look.

I wanted to make a raised bed to surround a seating area under a tree. The pivoting connectors allowed me to get the shape I wanted. They are easy to assemble--cut your boards, screw the connectors on and slip the ends together.
