Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

We shopped around and looked at many different rain barrels and finally settled on this one though it had slightly less capacity than some others I considered. We decided on this one primarily based on aesthetics. It does look great and has decent capacity. It was easy to assemble and assembly went smoothly. The only negatives about it are that the bottom section seem(where the top and bottom of the container are fused together) was not perfectly aligned, it was slightly off center and the top piece that sits on the container should have holes in it so it drains into the barrel as well and does not fill with water...I simply drilled some holes in it myself to rectify that issue.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

It has only rained once since I instaled this but it filled to the top. I may need to get another since I have to many gutters leading to this one. But it looks great, just wish it was a bit cheaper.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I had been thinking about getting rain barrels for quite some time. I thought these were a bit expensive, but when I did comparison shopping, they are relatively inexpensive. I just bought one to start with. The instructions to put it together were minimal and incomplete. Fortunately, it was really simple to do, with a little common sense and thought, even for someone who is not mechanically inclined.

The rainbarrel filled up and held water after the first rain.

So, I went ahead and ordered three more, one for each downspout. (Rainchains are on order!)

Now, I just need to wait for the summer, the dry season here in California, and find out how long a barrel of water lasts for watering my garden!

Oh, one more thing. You may want to put some cinder blocks or something under the barrel, as the water is gravity feed. Also, once it is full of water, it it too heavy to move, so think carefully before you place it.

Pleasant addition to the landscaping. Hose and bib make it easy to access. Overflow can be drained to desired point. So pleased, we bought another one for the back yard.

It would be a five if they did away with the $20 extra freight and made it look brown and not purple!

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I bought this rainbarrel to reduce my water bill while feeding my plants healthier water. It is amazing how fast it fills up. We had one heavy rain and it was overflowing. I mention that to encourage buying two barrels. All the parts fit and work great. This barrel is stylish but it would be better if it sat a little closer to the house. I couldn't quite figure out how the planter would be a good thing so I skipped that altogether. I needed to purchase an extra hose for diverting the overflow. I ended up getting a sump pump hose - it works great! I wish I bought one of these sooner!

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I have less attractive (and less expensive) rain barrels at my house, but I bought two of these to be on my back patio. They are set up on three cinder blocks (spray painted dark brown) so that the spigot will be tall enough for buckets. I use the rain water for plants and for my donkeys!

Loved my 1st one and purchased a second 65 gallon rain urn. The brown looks great with our house and we get receive many good comments from friends and family. The price is a little high, however our first purchase is still working just as good as the day we purchased it. We purchased the 1st rain urn about 3 years ago.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I have purchased this exact item before and love the shape and look of it. The previous purchase was easy to assemble as well as fast. This rain barrel, unfortunately, had a hose clamp that was broken. After a trip to the hardware store, I was able to put it together easily. It is frustrating when ordering something, I still have to go to a hardware store and repurchase parts.
