Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I bought this rainbarrel to reduce my water bill while feeding my plants healthier water. It is amazing how fast it fills up. We had one heavy rain and it was overflowing. I mention that to encourage buying two barrels. All the parts fit and work great. This barrel is stylish but it would be better if it sat a little closer to the house. I couldn't quite figure out how the planter would be a good thing so I skipped that altogether. I needed to purchase an extra hose for diverting the overflow. I ended up getting a sump pump hose - it works great! I wish I bought one of these sooner!

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I have less attractive (and less expensive) rain barrels at my house, but I bought two of these to be on my back patio. They are set up on three cinder blocks (spray painted dark brown) so that the spigot will be tall enough for buckets. I use the rain water for plants and for my donkeys!

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

Loved my 1st one and purchased a second 65 gallon rain urn. The brown looks great with our house and we get receive many good comments from friends and family. The price is a little high, however our first purchase is still working just as good as the day we purchased it. We purchased the 1st rain urn about 3 years ago.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I have purchased this exact item before and love the shape and look of it. The previous purchase was easy to assemble as well as fast. This rain barrel, unfortunately, had a hose clamp that was broken. After a trip to the hardware store, I was able to put it together easily. It is frustrating when ordering something, I still have to go to a hardware store and repurchase parts.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

Here in the Mojave Desert we don't get the big rains for the year until the monsoon season July/August. So I would like to review again to see how the rain barrel performs regarding pros/cons.
I noticed on the on-line catalog that there was a seam around the base near the spicket on the brown barrel but not the terra-cotta barrel. I called and asked if it was photo-shopped out & was assured that it was not & that the seam was not how the barrel actually looks & is not there. Well, it turns out that the seam IS there & the image was modified for one pic & not the other. I can "get over it" for now & will hope for the best when I evaluate it for performance of how the barrel actually collects water. I think it looks pretty good in my garden. I'm excited to have it.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

We got this attractive rain water urn to store rain water from our "Santa Fe" style home during our "monsoon" season to use the rest of the growing season for all of our potted plants, indoors and out. Our local desert water is very alkaline, "gypwater" it's called and this simple urn allows us to use rain water for plants confined to pots. I can't think of any way to improve the design.

This is a nicely made, heavy duty, high quality rain barrel. We love how it looks in our garden and having it centrally located makes for easy outdoor watering. I was also surprised that it came the day after I placed my order and on a Saturday. We would highly recommend this product and company to everyone.
