We use it at an auto fabrication shop, it runs the hose and sink line, when your hands are greasy, covered in paint, etc, it is nice to just push a button. It is made of metal and besides the buildup of material from unfiltered water in the lines keeping it from closing after a year, there is nothing that has been able to slow this down.

I bought this and the single tap one to manage the hoses and attachments I use for rain barrel (with siphon) patron plants and raised bed garden. I will be getting another single tap...come in handy for moving a lawn sprinkler without getting soaked or walking all the way back to the faucet.

When I saw the push buttons I was thrilled as the levers can be difficult to turn and frequently break. The unit is well built. The problem I have is that it acts like a flow restrictor which reduces the water pressure. I'm sure this is a problem that can be fixed but it would take a redesign

Bought this item the end of last season and didn't get around to installing it until July of 2014. What a disappointment, it leaked like crazy. Removed it and was going to throw it away when we asked our "handyman" to take a look at it. Turns out that the washer was reversed--who knew that there were grooves in one side of the washer that matched the grooves in the splitter. There was also a little bit of paint that leaked into the grooves that was preventing a clean seal. He scraped that out with his fingernail, turned the washer around, and voila, no more leaking!! (Unfortunately our second hose sprung a leak, so we haven't really had the opportunity to use the splitter.)

Have arthritis in my hands it is hard to use the lever adapters. Using the push button on-off faucet adapter seemed like a great idea and I bought a few of them. Unfortunately, after using them for about a month, everyone of them started leaking around the buttons when you pushed them on and off. Before long they just leak from the button area whenever you have the water turned on. The do not leak when the water is turned off. They are a great idea and if they ever improve the design, I would probably buy and try one again.

I now have the ability to water both livestock and my vegetable garden without having to connect and reconnect hoses so I can divert water to where it is needed and when it is needed without running back and forth to the spigot. The best advantage is that it is easy to install on an awkwardly placed spigot, and I won't have bruised knuckles now!

I have done plumbing. I understand seals. I used the perfect washers and the perfect tightness, and buttons still leak. This is an internal issue that needs to be resolved. Im returning these. The WHOLE reason I purchased expensive quality splitters from here is because I wanted to AVOID the leaking that occurs with cheap splitters. Looks like Ill need to Solder my own splitters from copper pipe and fittings. Why in the world is this so hard????????????

This push button adaptor for an outside faucet lets me use one hose for hand spraying and another hose for a sprinkler. Since my faucet is partially covered by a plant, the push button is simple, easy and quick. So far the adaptor has been dripless, therefore wasting no water. I'm very pleased!

The push buttons are certainly easier to use than the little levers on most hose connectors, but we're constantly tightening this to stop leaks. We do turn off the water when we're finished using the hose but it doesn't always help.
