Our Durable Pound-In Landscaping Edging Installs in Minutes

  • Create a well-defined edge in minutes
  • Gives a clean, finished look around plantings and garden beds
  • Choice of three heights: 4", 8" and 12"
  • Each set makes a 20' long edge

This is the quickest, easiest system you'll find for defining an edge around your flower beds or garden. Simply pound each interlocking piece into the ground with a rubber mallet; in most soils there's no need for cutting, trenching or tearing up sod. To turn a corner, just bend the sections to form the angle you need.

Recycled Plastic
  • Durable, recycled polyethylene
  • Use 4" for hard-packed soils or flush edging
  • Use 8" for normal soils or deep weed protection
  • Use 12" for loose or sandy soils

About Me Budget Shopper

Pros

    Cons

    • Looks Awful
    • Uneven

    Best Uses

    • Front Yard

    Comments about Pound-In Edging:

I purchased this product to provide a simple edge to an area with some drain issues. While easy to install, the final look is cheap. The edging is uneven and looks flimsy. Cannot wait to replace.

      Comments about Pound-In Edging:

I use the edging (8") to surround areas from which I want to keep grass.

It is fairly expensive but worth it: easy to install, effective, durable, fairly inconspicuous.

(As to recommendations, that depends upon the criteria of the friend!
Forced choice, however, I would recommend the product. See below.)

      Comments about Pound-In Edging:

This went in so easily I was amazed. Sometimes it's hard to keep it level, and I was not able to bend it to go around curves without breaking, but the width is small enough that I was able to get it around my garden arc.

        Comments about Pound-In Edging:

We had just removed cobblestones that edged our front garden. We were not interested in the cheap, black edging that pops up, cracks, and isn't sturdy. We bought the 12" pound-in edging, and had no trouble installing it with a rubber mallet and making it level. It looks beautiful, seems very sturdy, and gives the lawn guys an easy edge to follow. Since it comes in different heights, you should have no trouble keeping in mulch. We got the 12" to keep the lawn roots from spreading to the flower bed. So far, it's perfect!

        Comments about Pound-In Edging:

We bought the 8" edge. Perfect! Could trim it to shorter height in tough areas, ex: roots in the way, concrete edges of driveway. At this height, you can also allow for the height of edge you need in different areas. Definitely recommend!

            Comments about Pound-In Edging:

I needed to separate the mulched area from the stone border and/or grass areas. It was so easy to do "and" remove if I didn't like my initial design. I love the fact that the edging comes in different depths. It's solid, easy to attach and pound in the ground.

            Comments about Pound-In Edging:

This edging was fairly easy to pound in but I had to loosen the soil with a shovel first or the edging cracked or bent. I like that it is 12 inches deep and I'm hoping the grass won't grow under it. It is attractive to the eye.
