        Comments about : 12" Pound-In Edging:

I was looking for a very firm edging to hold gravel in the driveway and keep it off the lawn. Ii wanted one I could pound in rather than have to dig a perfectly level hole to part-way bury it in. After much searching online I found this type and it does everything I wanted it to do with one exception. I was disappointed it is made of plastic, and I thought it would not pound in well. It still works well even though it's plastic and it certainly is cheaper to ship being plastic, so I guess it's not a concern.

          Comments about : 12" Pound-In Edging:

The pound-in-edging is easy to install as directed (I did need to upgrade to a 16 oz rubber mallet) and effective as a edging. The relatively short lengths made it simple to follow my bed's existing gentle curves. I appreciated the flexibility to leave a visible edging (which is what I wanted) or pound them in closer to ground level.

            Comments about : 12" Pound-In Edging:

I have ordered this edging multiple times, apparently I love them. I use 8in ones around my shrubs around the house to keep invasive Bermuda grass from growing into those areas & I use them around my magnolia and fruit trees to maintain a nice border due to the wild grass once again. I like the durable plastic material, easy to pound in, and neutral look for edging. Pounding may be more difficult if the soil is dry or contains too much lime stone. In that case I water down the area well before getting started on the project. The only negative about this product is that it comes in 6in pieces so it takes a little while to put together.

I used the 8" on a side bed and will order another box this spring for a bed in the back yard. Both beds have ground cover that tends to spread beyond the bed on to the grass.

                Comments about : 12" Pound-In Edging:

I love these edging pieces. I have used them to create modified raised beds for vegetables, to separate lawn from perennial beds, and to create a mini canal between a perennial bed and the driveway to divert water from a gutter downspout away from the driveway (and storm sewer). The edging pieces are easy pound in with a rubber mallet (our coastal yard is either sand or dumped topsoil) and interlink easily. The individual pieces also bend to make curves - corners are a little more difficult as they piece may snap if bent too far or too fast.

Great edging but I can't pound anything in to my soil. I dug a thin trench, put this edging in and filled the trench back in. Very solid product and the male/female connections on each piece are also very good. Used this product to keep my neighbor's lawn from spreading under our mutual fence.
