Additional Information

Exclusive | Wheelbarrow Versatility in a Back-Saving Garden Cart

  • Rugged garden cart is stable and easy to maneuver
  • Big, 20" pneumatic wheels roll easily over uneven ground
  • Steel frame supports 300 lbs — yet weighs just 30 pounds!

Thanks to its center-mounted wheels, this rugged wheelbarrow is stable and easy to maneuver, even when hauling loads up to 300 lbs. Its unique design allows the front to tip all the way to the ground while the wheels stay put; that means you can scoop heavy stones or logs into the cart instead of lifting them. The polyethylene "tub" is great for mixing wet soil or cement, will never rust, and rinses clean in a jiffy. Choice of Black or Red.

Comments about : Poly-Tough Cart, Black:

I bought this cart about 8-9 years ago and it's been a workhorse. I love how I can maneuver it around plants in my beds while dumping mulch. My version has metal-rimmed wheels with rubber tires (not pneumatic). 2 summers ago the rubber cracked and snapped off on both wheels. I was able to put them back on and keep them in place with gorilla tape wrapped around the broken areas, but I'm sure it's not going to hold up another year. I tried to purchase new tires but the cost quoted me seemed to be very high compared to the price of the cart to start with. I live in a area that's pretty rocky so pneumatic tires that can easily get punctured aren't a good option for me.

This is the best wheelbarrow. It's balanced and easily rolls over some rough terrain we have. Wish I'd purchased it years ago.

It rod that wheels attach to stick out beyond the sides of the wheel barrel and catch on things. In addition, I've ripped two pairs of pants on the cotter pins that hold on the wheels onto the rod.

Comments about : Poly-Tough Cart, Black:

I purchased this wheelbarrow originally in 2008 and loved it. Used it all the time for hauling and yard work. When it was stolen in 2016 I bought another, red this time, thinking I would have my old barrow back. Wrong!! The plastic bucket was thinner, cheaper and oddly shaped--raised in front instead of straight across. I couldn't dump dirt because it folded up. I had to lift the full cart straight up to dump dirt. Then the wheel broke. I would not buy this again but I have to say that Customer Service took care of me well. They do stand behind their products.

Comments about : Poly-Tough Cart, Black:

Cargo bin has deep gouges and scratches. Large boot print right in the middle. One leg piece bent so bad it can't be straitened so cart sits lopsided. One wheel slid onto axle so loosely that it slides around and causes cart to wobble, the other wheel fit so tight on axle that a mallet had to be used to hammer it on.

I loaded this about three quarters full with compost as I wasn't sure how easily it would maneuver. Couldn't believe what a piece of cake it was. Second trip loaded it to the max. Can steer it literally with one hand. Excellent control in getting it where I want it to go. I am thrilled and want to give it to about five people as a Christmas present. After the heavy, two-handed wheelbarrows I've had, this is a real treat.

Comments about : Poly-Tough Cart, Black:

We had a difficult assembly because one wheel bearing was undersized such that the wheel would not fit on the axle. After some though and rummaging around the garage, we managed to hammer it on using a one inch long piece of metal electrical conduit that happened to fit perfectly on the inner side of the bearing while fitting over the axle. Assembly is definitely a 2 person job in any case.
