            Best Uses

I bought these mainly to use with snipping roses for bouquets. At first I thought these to be wonderful. However, after using them several times, and NOT on heavy stems, the mechanism seems to "stick" with each clip. This is MOST annoying as I want to easily clip each rose, leaf or whatever WITHOUT having to "jump start" the mechanism with my thumb. The same problem occurs when snipping okra from the plant. Makes the entire operation more time consuming and frustrating. Would I recommend this item? Depends...can you tolerate frustration?

I like the smallness of the clipper. Fits perfect in a woman's hand. Great for snipping herbs or cutting blooms from my annual garden.

I grab one of these snips (I bought a second one!) whenever I'm heading out into the garden. They're great for pruning small plants (tomatoes, vine plants, smaller bushes) and also for cutting flowers and harvesting tougher-to-pick veggies like eggplant and okra.

I bought both the snips and the small pruning shears. They're better for most indoor plants and patio plants than full-sized pruning shears—just as sharp and more maneuverable. Blades clean up easily. The only problem is that the keeper that holds the blades closed when not in use is hard to slide into position.

I've had broken fingers on my right hand so the use of a tool I can actually use without wincing, is wonderful to me. I'm sure it will be good for people with arthritis. I carry it on me all the time in the garden, as a matter of fact. I bought a total of three.

I bought this pair as a gift for a friend. However, I cannot give them a five star rating because the clippers no longer come with the black rubber end protectors. My original pair has this and I can carry them in a pocket without worry about the sharp tips. I wonder why they no longer come with this very practical feature...??? They still do the job though.
