Exclusive | Elevated Planter Boxes Are Easy to Plant, Tend and Harvest

At 29" high, this attractive cedar planter is the perfect height for easy growing, eliminating the need to stoop, bend, kneel and reach. It's a generous 10" deep so you can grow big plants like tomatoes and root crops like carrots. With 16 square feet of growing space, there's plenty of room for multiple crops, yielding a generous harvest. Set up one or more of these rectangular beds around the edge of your patio to create a convenient kitchen garden, or fill them with flowers for a stunning display. Like our other cedar raised beds, the sides are held in place with our sleek and sturdy aluminum corners. There's a false floor made of cedar slats, set 10" down from the top so there's plenty of root space for vegetables and flowers. Excess water drains through slats; vents in the sides allow air to circulate and excess moisture to evaporate.

  • Cedar with aluminum corners and imported fabric liner
  • 96" L x 24" W x 29" H
  • Holds approx. 13 cubic feet (329 dry quarts) of container mix
  • Easy assembly
  • Gardener's Supply Exclusive

I just bought a house with a fully landscaped yard with no veggie garden so this is perfect. It's beautiful, functional, and it's amazing how much faster plants grow in the looser dirt of a box.

I bought two of these 8 ft. standing gardens for my large sunny deck. They fit perfectly along the railings, are very sturdy and were easy to assemble with only a screwdriver and hammer.

This has made gardening easier, more convenient and more enjoyable for me. I wish I had two or three more so I could have a larger garden. It's the only way I will garden from now on. It is beautiful, well constructed and easy to assemble. The plants seem to love it as much as I do. And by the way all of the other products I have purchased from Gardener's Supply are first rate as well.

With the severity of Califoria's drought, this is our compromise: a much smaller garden bed with a carefully moisture-controlled soil composition. This is such a fabulous little planter box when we finally DO get routine rains again (haste the day) we'll move it to our upstairs deck and fill it with flowers. A really nicely compact and long-lasting addition to our yard.

We have this on the deck. It's really saved my back and I have better control over the weeds and dirt. Casters I bought cannot be attached. There is about 1/4 of space depth unable to be used. It looks sturdy and is very handsome.

I love the height and look of the planters. It makes planting, cultivating, watering and checking for insects easy. I have received so many compliments. During delivery, the ties broke that held the package secure. However, you came through to fix the problem immediately. Your customer support is exemplary. Great support and product! Looking forward to more purchases. Thank you.

I wanted an elevated garden box for my mother who enjoys gardening but is in her 80s and has some difficulty with balance. This garden box is good looking and has plenty of room for both flowers and herbs. It is deep enough for some vegetables as well. It fits nicely along a wall. We have ours along a fence. The legs look like they could sink into the ground over time so we put brick underneath the legs.
You have to assemble this box when it arrives but I was able to do it easily by myself.

Love the looks of this product. We purchased two. The first one we put together with hand tools only and it took a long time because holes were not consistently drilled and instructions not very clear. The second one we put together using an electric drill--much easier.

We have a very small yard and needed something elevated to keep the critters out and something that gives some color to the back of our house.

                    • We asked kitchen garden expert Ellen Ecker Ogden to come up with planting plans for a couple of our Elevated Raised Beds. The results, both beautiful and delicious, are here.
