Exclusive | Pear Fruit Fly Trap is Effective and Discreet

  • Sparkling crackle glass tabletop trap controls pesky fruit flies
  • Effective and easy to use
  • Eco-friendly: no plastic traps to throw away
  • Includes three packets of non-toxic lure

Who wants annoying fruit flies flitting around the fruit bowl? No one will ever know that this pretty glass pear is also a fruit fly trap, which works like a wasp trap. Attracted by the bait, fruit flies enter and can't find their way back out. Just mix a packet of lure with water, remove the top from the pear and pour in the lure. Every two weeks or so, simply rinse out the pear and add fresh batch of lure — no plastic traps to throw away. Includes three packets of non-toxic lure; additional lures sold separately. Choice of Green or Yellow.

Recycled Glass
  • Recycled crackle glass, metal, 3 non-toxic fruit fly lures
  • Lures contain yeast, sugar and other natural ingredients
  • 4" in diameter x 8" H
  • Keep out of direct sun

Comments about Pear Fruit Fly Traps:

I do think this works pretty well although not 100%. I'm certain I have fewer fruit flies with it. The vessel itself is a lot larger than I thought.

Cought only 5 or 6 fruit flies in three weeks. Bottom rusted and stained counter top. Also spills when moved. Simply, it is a poor product.

Comments about Pear Fruit Fly Traps:

The fruit fly catcher is much more attractive than others, but it is almost impossible to fill & move without spilling. It is very poorly designed.

Comments about Pear Fruit Fly Traps:

I bought this for my mother for Christmas. She had said she liked it while we were browsing the catalog. She is 70 and says it works well. She has it on the window sill in the kitchen above the garbage pail that sits on the counter. My dad is always bringing in bowls of huckleberries, blueberries and blackberries he has picked which adds to the bug problem we already have from the store bought bananas.

Comments about Pear Fruit Fly Traps:

I bought this for the kitchen. I have a compost pail next to the sink and it is always swarming with fruit flies, my partners hates them and he is always complaining. I set the pear fruit fly trap up and set it next to the composter on the counter. It looks pretty and I am so impressed with how well it works. Its been about 3-4 weeks, I have seen 1 fruit fly in that time, and it was inside the composter. About 10 feet away is the dinning room table, on it is a bowl of fruit. Usually there are fruit flies there all year round. I haven't seen any there either, I'm not sure its the fruit fly trap, but I think it is. Anyway, very happy and impressed with my fruit fly trap and lure. Thank you Gardner's Supply.

Comments about Pear Fruit Fly Traps:

I was skeptical about this product (with fruit fly mix added), but I have a major infestation every spring & needed to try something. I did t see any fruit flies in this unit until I went to change the mix and saw that it was LOADED with dead flies. This is awesome, works great & looks pretty on my counter.
