I love this hose! It is perfect for my needs. I do not have a lot of physical strength but do a lot of gardening. This hose is easily managed and hangs nicely on my hose stand and the colors are nice. I plan to buy a second one for the vegetable garden area. Very happy with this purchase.

    Nice hose

Great light weight hose that is easy to handle. It does kink a lot and is fussy to re-hang. Buy longer than you think you need so you don't have to pull it tight. this will eliminate some of the kinking.

I am a master gardener and am in my yard working all the time. This hose is lightweight, but that is all the A+ it gets. It knots, kinks, is terrible to roll up and takes way to long to do so. I don't have the time or patience for this product. I am very disappointed in this product sold by Gardener's Supply Company.

the connector where you hook it to a wand slides out with water pressure, not sure if it can be repaired without just cutting hose and replacing the connector. Junk

        Love this, VERY lightweight

Comments about : Super Slim Lightweight Hose, 25 Ft.:

This hose is expensive, but so worth it. I got the 50 ft and was especially upset by the $15 shipping. It was explained that the shipping cost was based on the cost of the items, not the weight. Next time maybe I'll get some landscape rock, but I digress.

The hose is so light. I walk with crutches so it's difficult to lug a heavy hose. I got this for my pool patio, and it's easy for me to walk around with it and water all my pots. The fittings are very good, and all standard size. The pressure is excellent, since the diameter of the hose is small. And I love the eggplant color. Haven't had it long enough to know whether it stands up to the Tucson sun, but time will tell.

By the way, if you are considering one of those expandable little hoses, the kind covered in cloth, don't bother. They wear out in no time, and they only stretch to the full length when under pressure. They are annoying and short-lived.

After lugging around dirty, heavy hoses for decades, this lightweight hose is so easy and manageable. It will still kink but it's much easier to haul around on my arm, so the kinking is less of an issue. Plus this one is eggplant purple and safe to drink from.

        Coil memory versus hose weight

        By Dotty

        from Colorado Springs, CO

        Verified Buyer

Comments about : Super Slim Lightweight Hose, 25 Ft.:

I carefully read the reviews here before I purchased the 50 ft hose. The most attractive feature for me, before (and after) purchase, was/is its light weight. I leave it attached to a faucet and coiled on a hose stand when not in use and uncoil it to water my front lawn and flower beds in the evening. The hose has coiling memory. It wants to be coiled and un-coiled in a specific way. When I remove it from the stand I have to walk it out to its full length to uncoil it, removing the twists and turns as I go. After I do this, the hose is perfectly flexible, light, and a complete joy to work with. However, If I don't walk it out, it writhes, kinks, and fights me. When I finish watering, I have to consciously recoil it in the way it wants to be re-coiled by re-twisting it back to the shape it wants. The hose loops sitting on the hose stand are picture perfect once the hose is re-coiled. I'm hoping that over time the hose will relax a little and the coil memory won't be as rigid. However, that said, I still value its lightness more than I dislike its coiling memory. I was wrestling with kinking and twisting in the older, heavier hose that I replaced, and after that hose was uncoiled and unkinked, I still had to deal with its heavy weight. All in all I prefer this hose and am purchasing a 100 ft one for my back yard. I have an automatic hose coiler in my back yard so I'm eager to see whether that resolves the coil memory issue.
