Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:

Love these markers, I not only use these to identify plants and bushes in my garden, but any left over I use to write little messages on like "Hope", "Peace", "Love", etc. in my front garden. When people walk go by they stop and read them!

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:

We plant only native CA and mediterranean drought tolerant plants. When we put a plant in the ground, we immediately put a marker on it. That way we and our visitors know what the plant is and where it's from. (We always think we'll remember but after 200 plants we can't even remember buying the plant!) These markers are excellent. They extend above the ground for easy reading and are easy to move as the plant grows. Unfortunately, all marker pens fade after a season in the sun. So far, we have found a black wax (grease) pencil to be the most permanent marker.

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:

Great to mark perennials, I wouldn't use these for veggies (unless for more permanent types such as asparagus), as you can't rewrite over the previous name. Love these, they're the only ones that are STILL in place after the winter and all of the various creature activity.

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:

Despite reading the dimensions when ordering, these were surprisingly large. They feel sturdy and substantial. At first, I didn't like the fact that the plate is already mounted to the ground stake, as I thought this would make storage more difficult; however, I think that the benefit of not "losing" the market plate will outweigh that negative. These will be great for marking perennials as to specific name or type, such as certain roses, peonies, etc.

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:

Needed nice markers for our native plant garden. These are tall enough to not get lost in the foliage.
They are also big enough to have both the common & botanical names written on them.

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:

I use a regular #2 pencil & still completely legible after 18 years of year round placement. Great permanent marker for identifying varieties in collection of species; especially hostas & hemerocallis where other types of markers are easily "lost". Recently purchased 3 sets for fellow gardeners 75th birthday. He was thrilled.

Great to have the plants marked so when you go to split them you know what they are. Nice for when people go through my gardens they know the names if the ones they may want to get for their gardens.

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:

I plant 25-30 varieties of vegetables each season. As these change from year to year, I wish the markers could be wiped off somehow rather than having to keep buying new ones. They are very effective, easy to see and long lasting, but I now have dozens from prior seasons.

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:

I've ordered several sets of these to mark all the different varieties of flowers and bushes in my yard. I tried plastic markers, but they were unreadable after a year. I write on these with a ball point pen hard enough to "engrave" them because the ink fades and they'll still be readable. The only problem I had was some corrosion on some close to the front walk from the Icemelt that got shoveled on them.
