        Comments about Roc-Kloth, 4' x 50':

I live in Colorado where rocks are as common as dirt. The next common thing is Colorado is weeds. I have tried a number of landscaping fabrics to allow water through but keeps the weeds from growing with no success. The main problem is that the cloths degrade so quickly under the UV rays. This is my second order of Roc Kloth. So far, it is holding up well, and allows the water through. It doesn't seem perfect though, pointers on the cloth where sharp rocks touch the fabric, but maybe just to say, far better that 30 year landscaping fabric. So I gave it 4 stars, where typical 30 fabric I would give a 2.

          Comments about Roc-Kloth, 4' x 50':

I used this in my rock garden which covers a pretty good sized area. It performs as advertised. Nothing grows through this stuff so I am also using it in place of weed fabric. It works so much better than the other commercially available weed fabrics. It is also easy to cut with scissors.

So easy to install the "Kloth". Next my husband hauled rock and placed it on top. Looks greats!

I put this down as a base for a pathway in front of hydrangeas along the back of the house then laid heavy blue stone on top...not one weed last season. I had run out as I continued the path along the side of the house and where I ran out...lets just say, became weed heaven!

This is the second time I have purchased this cloth...simply because it is the best of FIVE others I tried! I've used it beneath walkways, underneath my wooden "box-gardens" (made with the end pieces you sell and my own wood), between the boxes, and beneath lava rock in a "bird sanctuary". (They can throw the seeds...but they won't root through the cloth! WOW!) Now I am using it under rubber mulch and will use it underneath a new patio!

Used it under a pea pebble path. When dry, the pebbles have a light grey color. If pebbles are displaced, the white fabric will blend in. The weed fabric sold at big box stores are black, which wouldn't work as well.

I purchased this Roc Kloth during the end-of-season sale and will be using it in the garden that lines my driveway. I currently have rocks in the garden but the weeds are out of control and difficult to keep up with. I plan, in the spring, to rake up the rocks and use this Roc Kloth in the garden and then put the rocks on top. The Roc Kloth is a durable product and will be easy to apply to the area it was purchased for. It will allow my plants and flowers to grow beautifully without weeds taking control and hiding their beauty. I enjoy shopping on Gardners website. There are many new, innovative products and shopping with them online is safe and secure.

The product should come with small rocks attached. I thought this would be an easy product to install, it is not. Alot of bending. I was hoping just to roll it out and be done with it, but no. This product was not what I expected and the discription was not clear.

This is great stuff. I eradicated my lawn and instituted paths and flower beds. I used roc-cloth for the paths. Works great, though you have to purchase staples, too, and I recommend underlaying it with plastic (I use empty mulch, soil and peat bags, the underneath doesn't have to be pretty.)

I put marble rocks on top. One day, I'll be able to afford paving! But until then...
