Great for use with bushy plants where the weight of the flowers makes them sag to the ground. Puts a ring around the plant to hold them up. Can barely be seen when installed. Can install 2 or more to encircle plant.

      • My Delphinium Supports

Every year when my delphiniums were in full bloom, the weight of the blooms along with the winds in our area, always took several of them down and made them messy. They are the center of my front flower bed. These supports are get. My only wish is that I had purchased them three years ago when I moved to this house.

Ends that go into the ground do not have points and so not able to push in the soil, they are covered with plastic caps. I have ordered this product before and it has been redesigned and not practical for use.

This support works great to keep the tall asparagus and cilantro plants from falling onto other plants. I just purchased another set, and suspect I will be buying more sets next season!

Many cultivars and nativars of native plants can get leggy or otherwise collapse under the weight of the fleshier growth they develop in richer garden soils. Some of our favorite cultivars of Penstemon, "Husker Red" and "Dark Towers," both have a tendency to collapse open under the weight of their leaves here in rainy Transylvania County. These plant supports worked to hold those puppies up out of the path of the mower without calling attention to themselves.

I needed something to keep some of the plants "parted" so I could get to the faucet of the hose in front of my house. These garden stakes do a good job of keeping the plants upright. You barely see that they are even there. Because they come in different heights, I bought more to support flowers growing in big pots. The flowers got so tall that they fell over the edge of the pots. These garden stakes with there shape did a great job of supporting these flowers to "stand up".

I've found these to be must-haves in my garden to tame prickly rose branches away from a walkway, to support heavy flower heads, and to gather them together for a showier display. After purchasing the first couple of pairs, I've gone back for more. They are very sturdy and functional, without visually detracting too much from the garden.
