    Comments about In-Line Connectors:

I bought the larger connectors, but they've only been drilled to fit 2 x 12's. Next time, I'm going to drill them out for 2 x 6's. The 2 x 12's are heavy and awkward to work with, especially if you are using pressure treated wood.

In a perfect world, this would've already been done by factory. Then you could've been given the choice what size wood to use.

We have used these in line connectors now for our third raised garden bed, find them excellent to keep things going straight, and are durable....even through a recent flood we experienced here!

These were very easy to work with. Somehow I didn't realize that they had a cross beam connector too, even though its shown in the picture. That was a happy bonus for me.

        24 ft long raised beds

          Comments about In-Line Connectors:

I used the 12" connectors to make two 24 ft long, 4ft wide raised beds for growing dahlias and flowers. The connectors are very solid metal painted brown on the outside. In the center of the connectors is a hole which was perfect for inserting a 2 ft long 2x2 wooden stake which I pounded in to make the bed solid. The beds look neat and professional. I used standard 2x6 8 ft long pressure treated lumber, stacked 2 high on each side, and had no trouble at all inserting it into the connectors. It was snug as it should be, but no difficulty getting the lumber in there. I didn't like paying the price for these, but on the other hand, they made a nicer, more solid bed than anything else I'd figured out on my own.

            Comments about In-Line Connectors:

Per your recommendation, these are to be used for spans longer than 8 ft. I used two 6 ft lengths (12 in. deep derived from stacking two 6 inchers). These connectors go with the four corners purchased separately. Ensure that the boards you purchase are no thicker than 1-1/2" so the boards can just slide in.

              Comments about In-Line Connectors:

These were purchased to expand existing raised beds. The existing raised corners and in-line connectors have been in place for 3-4 years and show no sign of wear or rusting. Have had raised beds for 20+ years and these corners and connectors make maintaining a raised bed a breeze. Although product info recommends 4 ft planks, we are using 8 ft planks for sides and 4 ft for ends. Have not had any problems with this configuration.

I'VE ALREADY MADE A PREVIUS RAISED BED AND THIS YEAR I REALIZED I NEEDED A LARGER ARE IF I WANTED TO HARVEST MY OWN CHOICES OF VEGETABLES. MY YARD IS FULL OF FLOWER BEDS, BUT I WANTED MY VEGETABLES AWAY FROM THE HERB AND GARLIC BED. AS WELL AS KEEPING THE CRITTERS OUT IT DEFINES THE WHAT I WANT TO USE IT FOR-BESIDES IT'S EASIER TO KEEP WEEDED AND FERTILIZER-WETHER MNFG OR ORGANIC STAYS WHERE I PUT IT.

                  Comments about In-Line Connectors:

It took a month to get the two we need to finish our garden, because there were 4 corners and we want to use in-line and not the corners. So we sent the 4 back and ordered 2 in-line , the wrong size was sent and then when we called were told that they don't make the size we wanted. It was in the catalogue. After some time and calls
                  we receive our order.
