Exclusive | All-in-One Gardener’s Revolution® Tomato Growing Kit

Note: We are offering our 2016 planters at a reduced price due to customer feedback. Although many customers experienced great results with these planters, some have reported difficulties, such as broken clips, rings that didn't fully support plants, color fading, and planters with large tomato plants tipping over. These 2016 planters are sold as is. In Spring 2017, we will introduce a new, improved version of the planter that remedies these issues.

  • Planter combines three innovations to produce healthy roots and a big harvest of delicious tomatoes
  • Self-watering to reduce watering chores
  • Includes planter, support, organic potting mix and organic fertilizer
  • Complete organic kit — just add a tomato plant!
  • For determinate (bush) tomato varieties only
  • In high-wind areas or if plant is top-heavy, secure the planter to a post or railing
  • Add optional Casters, sold separately, to make the planter easier to move
Watch: Gardener's Revolution Tomato Garden

The kit includes our exclusive Gardener’s Revolution Tomato Planter, 20 qts. of our premium Organic Self-Watering Potting Mix, and 1 lb. of our Organic Tomato Fertilizer.

Our new planter features a trio of innovations to help you grow more delicious, juicy tomatoes.

Success starts in the roots. The perforated planter with Honeycomb Ventilation and lightweight Grow Bag liner air-prune roots, ensuring a dense, vigorous root system that can take up more water and nutrients — the secret to a super-productive plant.

Dual-Hydrate Watering System. Draws water from the reservoir into the soil two ways — an evaporative grid plus capillary strip -- efficiently providing roots with water.

Customizable support. The integrated, adjustable system gives plants support wherever it’s needed. Simply slide the five Snap-Lock Rings up and down the aluminum spine as plant grows; open and reattach the rings to gather up wayward stems.

The revolutionary Gardener’s Revolution Tomato Planter sets up in minutes, ready to grow your best crop of delicious tomatoes! The planter holds one determinate (bush) tomato plant.

Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Tomato Garden:

Had great hopes for this. Bought two. Plants were not supported by the ring systems. Clips apparently fell off and disappeared (from deck). Started with the tan color and are now a muddy greenish hue.

This container has worked well so far. I had a small problem with one of the wire supports staying attached during a wind storm but other than that, I am satisfied with the planter.

Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Tomato Garden:

Love all of the other products I have purchased over the years from here but when I purchased 2 of these last season (2016) I found out that they really don't hold much water & they kept blowing over. Purchased the casters for both & ended up having to remove them to help keep them a little more stable/in one place when the winds came.
For the price they were very disappointing.

I was hoping these would be nice but it was not to be. They were easy to set up (except that I was missing a piece that they had to send me) and looked nice at first. As the season went along they faded horribly and tipped over breaking the tomato plants. Of the two I bought, only one had tomatoes and that one only had a couple. These need to be built much sturdier than they are. I really like the Hexagon pattern being a Beekeeper but in the end these were a HUGE disappointment. Expected much more for the steep price paid. Would not buy again or recommend.

    Faulty design

    Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Tomato Garden:

We bought two of these planters last season because they seemed like a great solution for a patio garden -- specifically, they took up less floor space than the Tomato Success Kit (which we love). Unfortunately the poor product design resulted in a total flop last season. The water reservoir is too small and the "wicking" system ineffective so we still needed to water every day, filling both the reservoir and watering from the top. Once the tomato plant was larger, the support bar would fall over (it wouldn't sit securely into the base of the planter at all!) and we definitely lost a couple rounds of tomatoes because the whole planter just fell over. We eventually had to tie the support bars to the wall to make sure it didn't fall over, but the damage was done to the tomatoes. As another reviewer said, the color also faded unevenly in the sun after just one season. Going back to the TSK instead this year.

I won't buy this product again.

    Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Tomato Garden:

I purchased three of these in the bronze. The color held up just fine and the concept is a good one but it was more of a pain than it was worth. First of all it tipped over - ALOT - even when full of water. The wire hoop type things to hold up the plant always fall off. It made it even worse at tipping over when I added the extension, even though the tomato plant itself was not very thick with stems & leaves.

        Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Tomato Garden:

I loved this thing at first but as my tomato plant got bigger the pot split and the holders kept falling apart. VERY DISAPPOINTED as that killed my plant and I have no container. It cost quite a bit of money and should have lasted for yrs. I tried to contact the company but no reply.........
Thought they would have sent another.

        Very Disappointing

        Pros

        • Support For Tall Tomato

        Cons

        • Base Could Tip Over
        • Container Too Small
        • Flimsy Support Rings
        • Not As Advertised
        • Not Truly Self Watering

        Best Uses

        • None At The Moment

        Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Tomato Garden:

I bought it to grow a tomato plant on my deck. The height of the additional extension was helpful in containing the tomato plant, but the self watering aspect was highly overrated. I still had to add water every single day and then it didn't really keep the soil evenly moist as tomatoes need. I thought the container was actually too small even for determinate tomatoes. It was poorly balanced and would have tipped over if my husband hadn't built a wood stand for it and put it on a large rolling plant holder. Kind of defeats the purpose. The support rings were flimsy and didn't stay clipped on. I won't buy your improved version.
