  • Includes self-watering Honeycomb Planter and integrated 33" high tomato support
  • Make it mobile! Add optional Casters, sold separately
  • Sized for 1 tomato plant; we recommend a compact determinate (bush) variety that grows up to the height of the support
  • For taller varieties, add our Tomato Planter Support Extension, sold separately, which provides an additional 15" of support

New! Last year several customers reported such a bounty of tomatoes that the plant's weight grew too heavy for the support. Our redesigned support is extra-sturdy for this year's tomato bonanza!

Nothing tastes better than tomatoes harvested fresh from the vine! Now you can look forward to a season's worth of bounty with our revolutionary planter. Advanced technology makes this small-space system a convenient and foolproof way to grow a super-productive tomato plant right on your deck or patio. Also great for peppers and eggplant. We recommend using the included tie-back anchor to secure the planter to a post or railing.

Success starts in the roots. The planter's Honeycomb Ventilation and lightweight Grow Bag liner air-prune roots, ensuring a vigorous root system that can take up more water and nutrients — the secret to healthy plants.

Dual-Hydrate Watering System. Self-watering planter supplies roots with consistent moisture and reduces watering chores. A new, larger port makes it easy to fill the reservoir.

Built-in support. We've reinforced the heavy-duty, integrated spine and Snap-Lock Rings to provide support wherever and whenever it's needed — and you can open, reattach and lock in the rings to gather up and support wayward branches. A new tie-back anchor offers even more stability.

Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Honeycomb Tomato Planter:

These are the cutest and most useful tomato planters Gardeners has ever come up with! If you READ the instructions thoroughly, they are easy to assemble. They are more compact than the other self watering Tomatoe Success Kits....the casters are a must, making them VERY easy to move around and relocate for more or less sunshine.

I was hoping this would be a good idea for my tomato plants. I had to return all that I had purchased. It was too difficult to assemble, and the suggested video tutorial was of no help. Returned and replaced with something similar...which I love!

I have done business with you guys for some years now. When your representative told me to use "Duck tape" to secure the rings to my tomato planters, well I thought, why didn't you tell me this before you accepted my money for it?

Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Honeycomb Tomato Planter:

I definitely would not purchase this product again. A cord is included in the packaging because the pot is so flimsy that it has to be tied to something to prevent it from falling over. Also the rings that are supposed to act as stakes as the plant grows may have been a good idea on paper but in reality, they are extremely difficult to install because the locking clips that are supposed to hold the rings in place do not really lock, even after you spend a ridiculous amount of time to install them. Company knows this is a problem because they are now saying that redesigned clips are being manufactured. They won't be available until mid June though. That is really too late for the tomato growing season. Company knew there were problems with this product and decided to market the product anyway. Because of this, I now have a very poor taste in my mouth for Gardeners Supply in general.

I bought this planter last summer and put a cherry tomatoe plant in. The plant grew too big and way too high. Going to use a brush tomato this season. The planter is easy to use and looks nice. The caster are great so you can move the plant with the sun.

I was given this planter to test out here in Florida. I know that some of the other reviews said the planter fades, but that is normal for Florida due to the extreme heat. My plant has not yet yielded a huge harvest but that was due to the insane up and down weather and lack of sunshine during the winter months here in Florida. The tie down cords are great and have a lot of slack. They really kept my planter upright even with the strongest winds on the pillar outside my front door. The weather defender is of pretty heavy duty fabric and kept my plant cozy during the little cold fronts we had. The supports do pop up every now and again but I found with the locking clips they stay in place.I love the room on the water reservoir and I like how much water it holds. So far my plant has been supported by the rings and the planter has held the weight of the plant well. I like the design as well.

I absolutely loved this product. I planted a patio tomato. The rings worked perfectly to hold the plant. I soaked the planter because I was away for a week and my plant was in perfect condition when I returned. I am in the hot SC sun and I did not notice any fading.

Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Honeycomb Tomato Planter:

I like growing edibles more than flowers but needed something nice for the porch. I got two of these tomato planters at the beginning of the season last year. I took the picture in July and they were already bearing fruits.

Seattle area was unusually hot and dry last year so I did have trouble keeping up with watering in the beginning. Then I realized that I wasn't filling the reservoir up all the way. It was bigger than I thought. I actually moved the two tomatoes closer to the water hose after that and filled them up faster. That kept the tomatoes happy. I did have to fill them up every day just as I had to with everything else. I also gave them both a boost of fertilizer when the tomatoes started showing up. Both of them grew well and gave me a good amount of tomatoes until we got hit with torrential rain and cold which took them out.

I do think they are a little small. I grew roma tomatoes in them. They produced clusters of medium size fruits and the support worked fine. They never grew taller than the support. I wouldn't grow any kind of big tomato plants in there like beefsteak or the indeterminate kinds that need a lot of room and support.

The red one did fade a bit by the end but my brown one look just as good as new. I plan on using them again this year, maybe for peppers. They look really nice on the porch and I got a lot of compliments from people.
