Description

  • Extended handle for extra reach
  • Ideal for working in raised beds
  • This tool comes with our exclusive lifetime guarantee

Like our other Gardener’s Lifetime hand tools, this raised bed trowel is hand-forged for a lifetime of use. It has an 18" wooden handle, making it perfect for working the soil and planting in raised beds. Our Gardener’s Lifetime Tools are made in Holland from the finest high-carbon Swedish boron steel. Unlike flimsy tools that are stamped from thin stainless steel, this trowel is ready for a lifetime of use by serious gardeners. To give it extra strength and durability, a metal tang extends into the handle, which is securely fastened with a welded socket. The handle is made of sustainably grown European ash hardwood. Gardener’s Lifetime Tools are handmade for us by a fourth-generation, family-owned business that has been crafting fine gardening tools for more than a century.

Not for a lifetime, not mine anyway

I loved this trowel. My husband gave it to me and it fit my hand and the jobs I needed it to do. Then it just snapped in half. Too expensive to buy another with such a short useful life-and I'm on a fixed income. It's an attractive tool, but do yourself a favor and find a sturdier, cheaper one.
