Additional Information

Exclusive | Extra-Tall Tomato Towers Support Your Tallest Tomatoes

Note: We are offering these supports at a reduced price because our quality inspection team found surface defects in the powder coating, such as areas with a thin or uneven coat, chips, rough patches or paint drips. These cosmetic imperfections do not affect the function or durability of these supports, since they are made with galvanized steel underneath the powder coating to resist rust. Sold as is.

  • Super-sturdy cages keep your tallest tomato plants upright for a bigger, cleaner harvest
  • Big, 8" square openings make harvesting easy
  • Hinged panels fold flat for compact storage
  • Set of 2

You asked us for taller tomato cages and here they are! Our heavy-duty, steel Tomato Towers are much taller and stronger than old-fashioned cone-shaped supports, ready to support your biggest indeterminate tomato plants. The towers support plants on all sides (no tying needed) and keep plants up off the ground for better air circulation, cleaner fruit and fewer diseases. Large openings make harvesting easy, and the towers fold flat for off-season storage. 53" high installed. In windy locations, we recommend anchoring these towers with our Extra-Tall Earth Staples, sold separately.

Could be better quality

By Pat

I was so happy with the four tomato cages I first bought that I wanted to get four more to complete the garden. I purchased the "seconds" for the price & it stated the only problem was the paint. They are not as sturdy as my original ones and when you try to place the top portion on they come apart; flimsy! It took almost an hour to install-trying to get the top on and put back together each time it came apart-frustrating. The original ones were stury & quick to install. I am a fan of your products, however, I was surprised at the lack of quality for the price and will shy away from seconds in the future.

Factory Second Tomato Towers Rule!

Pros

  • Most Have Minimum Damage

Cons

    Best Uses

I used these for indeterminate tomatoes. I added a sturdy tomato stake to each to prevent deer from knocking them over. They support the vines yet allow me to pinch suckers and pick fruit. If I hadn't had to paint scratched spots with polyurethane, they would have been perfect!

        Best Uses

        • Indeterminate Tomatoes

Bought the original tomato cages so long ago I can't remember when. They finally gave out after years of use. So I replaced them with these "factory seconds" that seem perfect to me! I expect them to last just as long and hold up to the storms and tying up heavy beefsteaks that the originals did.

        So far so good

We are using these towers to grow some grafted tomato plants. I hope they're tall enough. They seem to be large enough to contain these "super-size" plants, but time will tell. They have only been planted, with started plants, for three weeks and they're already half way up the
        height of the towers.
