Comments about Essex Tuteurs:

I purchased three of these for climbing roses. The very short screws didn't tolerate the weight of the roses. Flimsy and light weight, they didn't withstand wind. Most of the screws worked out of all three Essex Tuteurs. Instead of supporting my roses, the roses are keeping the parts of the Tuteurs from falling to the ground. A huge dissapointment!!!

      Comments about Essex Tuteurs:

Not the same quality as the other tuteurs we have purchased in years past. For the price we paid we were expecting something of the same quality. I would return it but I already assembled it and I didn't want to pay again for return postage. Very cheap craftsmanship.

          Comments about Essex Tuteurs:

This trellis is so flimsy that the rings distorted out of shape when I tried to push the legs into the ground to stabilize it so that it could stand up. It might be useful as an indoors party decoration, but certainly not as an outdoors functioning trellis.

while the circular rings may seem flimsy, when fully assembled, the product is quite stable and sturdy. Can extend the functional height by using stakes inside the bottom posts.

We had purchased the larger version two years ago. We decided we did not need as tall a one. Did not realize that the interior was smaller as well. It works for what we want though.

I just got my order the the Garden Clog shoes. They are very comfortable but because they did not come in half sizes ( I probably need 6 1/2 rather than the seven) Do you have insoles that would make them smaller or suggestion where I could purchase that?

                Comments about Essex Tuteurs:

I bought these in 2010, the year my house was completed. It was the first thing I placed in the yard before gardens, paths, decks were even in place. They have weathered to a soft, matte gray. Screws/bolts have shown minimal rust but I have handled this by dabbing Rustoleum on the affected areas. This year I will be ordering three more full circle obelisks, and three half-circle to create the "walls" of the koi garden. The ones I have now have endured Hurricanes Irene and Sandy and a few tropical storms. I live near the ocean and salt air has not affected them. They are absolutely beautiful and I have not for a moment regretted owning them. I may cover the plants and spray the obelisks with a high-gloss, black Rustoleum paint but I'm not sure I want to untangle three massive clematis plants that have called these beauties their home.

I bought a pair of these. The first was fairly easy to assemble. It did not stand squarely, but I made it work. One of the posts on the second was not properly drilled. I emailed about it, after waiting a week for a response, I called. A replacement leg was sent. I assembled the second with the new leg- tolerances were way off; it was hard to assemble and the holes did not align. Since the first has been outside, I will not return it. I will buy something else (two actually) and move the first somewhere that it will not annoy me every time I look at it.

Garden's Supply is my go to first for all our gardening needs. The most important thing to me is they stand behind their products. There have been a couple instances (out of many) when things have broken - replacements were in the mail immediately. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
