  • Looks Nice

Cons

  • Retains Rain Water

Best Uses

I used to make path to bird bath. Looks nice but when it rains they retain water that stays for several days- long enough that I see mosquito larva. They are in shady area.

Put four daisy stepping stones down in new landscaping. They look great but when the sprinklers are on to water the new grass they curl on the edges becoming dangerous. Disappointed.

          • Inside Garagenot In Rain

These MUST be used inside or on a covered deck. The raised flower designs fill quickly with rainwater making it a big puddle of water. Defeats the purpose of having them outside. They are very pretty side by side used as a door mat in the garage, etc.

They are beautiful in design. They are lighter weight than I imagined and I'm not sure if they will need to be picked up before mowing.

I love these. Wish I had purchased one more. I love the design. They are not as heavy as traditional stepping stones, and so sometimes move. I have them at the bottom of our deck step where the ground inclines slightly, and also on top of decorative stones. Since they are flexible, they conform slightly to cover the stones as well as act a cushion to your feet - something traditional stones can't do. Mine are directly in the sun, but don't get too hot so as to burn your feet. Don't know how they will wear yet; that's why the four stars. Also don't know how they would perform on a solid flat surface. Don't seem to be too slippery when wet - the cut out design allows for an upper and lower surface. Your foot or shoe only touches the upper surface so you're not as apt to slip.

I have a small area between my house and a privacy fence that houses some plants and grass. The mower was difficult to get into this area, and a trimmer was a constant hassle. These tiles I laid after applying landscape cloth and secured the tiles with garden staples. The small portions of the area where tiles wouldn't fit, I laid landscape cloth and placed rocks over it. Project done and it looks great!

I bought these to make a path through my front yard for the mailman. I got enough that I put six together in a rectangle to make a front door mat. I've gotten lots of compliments on them. Unfortunately, water collects in the indentations, but I just flip them over to dump it out.

I bought 4 of these attractive tiles. I used 3 to cover uneven flagstone in my garden. I used 1 to put containers of cat food food on top of the carpet. This was necessary because the cat food was attracting ants in its usual location in the laundry room. Pet food smells in the kitchen are not cool and feeding my cat food without any thing to cover the carpet was not an option. Having just received the 4 tiles, I suddenly realized that one tile would be the perfect thing to hold the cat's food on the carpet. In times when the food bowls were not on the carpet, the tile would look fine on the carpet. I hope this use is temporary. The tiles on the flagstone look and work fine.

I have this garden that the dog has created his own path (so he can bark at the neighbors). So I redesigned the garden with a path. These rubber stepping stones stay in place and is easy on my dogs paws. Just a nice accent on top the black mulch.
