Excellent for small bushes!

Comments about : Crop Cage, 4' x 4':

I would give this a 5 star rating, but on year two one of the zippers has fallen off. I can still open one side and the netting is still working. The thing I love most about this cage is its ease of installation and that it stores absolutely flat.

I'm using the crop cage on my deck to protect my tomato and pepper plants from critters! It was easy to set up and tall enough for the tomatoes. I wish I had purchased this years ago rather than struggling with netting.

I set this up in my backyard in order to prevent the birds from getting all of my blackberries. Easy to set up really sturdy and a much better product than I had anticipated for the price

I bought these to try on our blueberry bushes, enabling us to eliminate the cumbersome way we were protecting our plants. They are working out great, and we plan to buy more to protect the rest of our bushes.

I bought 2 cages and I love them!

For years I've had to grow my tomatoes in huge pots on my deck because of the deer. That still didn't stop whatever smaller animals that can climb from eating my ready-to-pick tomatoes! I would go out and find half-eaten tomatoes with claw marks all over them...raccoon maybe? I've tried covering them with a variety of things which proved to be very labor intensive. Then I stumbled upon these cages. I LOVE THEM!! They have been a Godsend for me this year! I had to anchor them down (I used yarn) to the deck rails to keep the wind from turning them over, but that was no problem.

I grow small amount of corn which gets eaten or destroyed by animals every year. Hoping this year will be different by using this.

Still going strong for a third season

      Comments about : Crop Cage, 4' x 4':

We bought two of these a couple of years ago to protect our dwarf citrus trees that we keep outside during the summer. The squirrels finally found the fruit one year and picked the trees clean. Set-up the first go round can be a bit challenging, it helps to have a 2nd person so you don't become entangled in the netting! The 2nd and 3rd years of putting them together was a breeze. Haven't had a squirrel picking fruit since.

I use garden stakes to keep them anchored and also clamp them together for a neater appearance. As some of the reviews have stated there is a gap at the bottom that a critter could crawl through. By using garden stakes to anchor them down this eliminates the gap on 3 sides and we just use a brick to hold to zippered side down to the ground.

Some of the corner brackets have cracked each year, I epoxy them back together over the winter and they're good to go come spring. One of the springs used to hold the tubes together broke, but a little teflon tape holds the tubes together just as secure. I'm giving it a 4 rating due to the brackets cracking, but it's not a show-stopper.

I expect to get a fourth season out of them and with a little luck we'll get five. Can't ask much more for the price.

This cage is great. I had squirrels, possums, and birds all attacking my tomatoes and once I installed the
crop cage no critters were able to get in. This cage works great !!

I used this over my garden tower. The materials are lightweight and cheap. It did not hold up in the wind.
