Additional Information

NEW & Exclusive | Large-Capacity, Solid Copper Bird Feeder Holds 14 Cups of Sunflower Seed

  • Stunning copper feeder is a showpiece in the landscape
  • Large capacity means less frequent refilling
  • Multiple birds can perch on tray and hopper
  • Hopper mesh is sized for sunflower seed

Make fewer trips to fill your feeder and keep birds from going hungry in between! This feeder has a stunning, solid copper roof and tray, with a steel mesh hopper so birds can cling anywhere to feed. The wide, overhanging roof helps keep seed dry and provides some protection to birds as they feed. Easy to fill — just slide the roof up and pour in sunflower seed. Holes in the tray provide drainage. Copper will age to a pleasing patina.

Pretty, but not durable

Comments about : Copper Sunflower Seed Bird Feeder:

This is a beautiful feeder, but has some issues. The holes in the mesh are a little too small for black sunflower seeds, so the birds feed very slowly on this feeder. Also the hanging wire is not sturdy enough. The copper cover cut right through the wire after only 6 weeks of use.

Comments about : Copper Sunflower Seed Bird Feeder:

I bought this feeder as a gift for my mother. She quickly noticed that the birds were not using it. After closer investigation, we noticed the mesh on the feeder has such tiny openings that sunflower seeds do not pass through. We are returning it. Looks beautiful but impossible for sunflower seeds.

    Unhappy Birds

Comments about : Copper Sunflower Seed Bird Feeder:

Just like another reviewer, I've found that the screen mesh size is too small. Even small birds, like titmice and chickadees, get frustrated by not being able to get the seeds out of the feeder. And I'm using the smaller black oil seeds. Only the Woodpeckers, who are used to digging seeds out of crevices have the patience to dig out the seeds. If you were to fill it with the larger grey stripe seeds, even they couldn't get them out.
