Exclusive | All-Organic Container Mix with the Power of Compost
Specially formulated mix provides optimal growing conditions for container plants
New formula is ideal for both standard and self-watering containers
All-organic blend favored by professional organic growers
Many soil mixes are too heavy for good root growth and contain few, if any, nutrients. Our Vermont-made mix contains nutrient-rich compost for energy, and sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite for aeration and water retention. It's the perfect growing medium in containers, especially self-watering containers. Try it yourself and see why it's the choice of professional growers everywhere.
Contains odor-free composted manure and plant materials, sphagnum peat, perlite, and vermiculite
It's hard to find Organic Container Mix so this bagged mix is a benefit, and well contained and packaged. I used this mix in my Potato Grow Bags and it worked very well. It held moisture satisfactorily and the bag was manageable for dumping into the grow-bags. I did not need to water these above-ground bags filled with this mix as often as I thought, just 1-2 times a week in Michigan with a weekly rainfall. When allowed to dry before harvest, the potatoes came out of the bag clean and dry because of this lightweight soil. Took off one-star only because of the expense and the use of peat, but unless I find it elsewhere I will buy it again.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Beautiful, bountiful planters depend on good soil, fertilizer and careful watering. But to take your planters from standard to sensational, you need the right plants. Start with this simple rule: Combine plants with three different habits. In other words, thrillers, fillers and spillers.
