  • Rustic planter resembles an antique chicken feeder
  • Adds vintage appeal to container plantings
  • Ideal for small annual flowers and succulents

Like a treasure you found at an antique market, this planter is perfect for compact annual flowers like alyssum and lobelia or succulents like hens-and-chicks. Made from galvanized steel that’s hand-painted to an antique patina, it will look right at home along the edge of your patio or atop a stone wall. The wire top is hinged for easy planting. I am very happy with this product. It came perfectly wrapped. I bought 3 of them and have them lined up on my patio under a large window. I can't wait for it to be a little warmer to plant some flowers!

The planter is sturdy and should last a long time. It's winter and I haven't used it yet. I plan to fill it with succulents. I'm very pleased with it.

        Attention Getter

        By Morning Gardener

        from Anderson, SC

        Verified Buyer

        Pros

        • Looks Nice With Flowers
        • Nice size

        Cons

        • Needs Drain Holes

        Best Uses

        • Interesting And Different

I was pleased when I received this. It was bigger than I thought it would be. I have it on my deck with little wooden chicks around it....different than the usual flower pot display. It catches the eye of everyone who visits. Most people ask what it is. One thing I found out after the first big rain was that it was full of water and needs some drain holes. I punched a few in with an awl. I love this planter and enjoy it's uniqueness.
