Exclusive | Handsome, Long-Lasting Cedar Raised Beds at Factory-Direct Prices

Raised beds are easy to set up, plant and maintain, producing high yields in a compact space with less digging and weeding. And now you'll find just the right size and shape bed for your needs. Use raised beds to grow vegetables, or install the beds along a perimeter to create stunning border gardens. You can even build a pyramid garden by stacking smaller beds atop larger ones.

Each bed includes four industrial-strength aluminum corners; 7-1/4" H x 1" rot-resistant cedar lumber that's been precut to the proper lengths, hardware and instructions. Easy assembly — just slip the boards into the corners and screw them in place. (12' beds use two 6' boards with in-line connectors.) Because we build these raised beds in our Vermont workshop, we’re able to optimize both quality and cost.

  • Western red cedar with aluminum corners
  • 4’ x 4' Cedar Raised Bed holds 9 cubic feet or 230 quarts of soil
  • 4' x 6' Cedar Raised Bed holds. 14 cubic feet or 360 quarts of soil

        • Stain It Before Assembly

Like the other raised bed I purchased, this one was very easy to assemble. Instructions were very clear. I would recommend pre drilling small holes before using the wood screws. This will prevent the wood from spitting.
Also be sure to wear gloves if you stain it with the stain from Gardener's Supply Comany as it will stain your hands and it is difficult to get off. Soap and water will not remove the stain from your hands. Also wear old clothes.

I bought this to replace a raised bed that i had built by myself that had rotted out. It cost about the same as mine, but with the convenience of having all the parts delivered to my door. Assembly was very easy. The only disappointment I had was the package of hardware supplied with this 4x12 raised bed kit was obviously for a 4x6 or smaller bed. It was missing several screws and two plastic caps that fit over the metal corner connections. Would have given it five stars if it had all of the things in the kit it was supposed to have, in spite of one board being cracked from a knothole (I assume this crack may have occurred during shipping, and as a natural product some issues like that cannot be avoided).

This raised bed was easy to assemble and, from the materials, will last a long time. The wood is attractive and much more durable than other raised beds on the market. I've planted a sizeable vegetable garden in the bed, with the help of my grandchildren. I anticipate a healthy harvest throughout the summer and into fall.

Decided to use raised beds for veggie and herb gardening. Looked around and found these online. Arrived quickly. Assembled easily. Glad I read the other reviews suggesting not using power tools for assembly but pre-drilling holes. Worked well. Looking forward to many years of use.

Product shipped quickly, assembled easily but for the components included (even the pre-cut cedar pieces) this is very overpriced. We'll have to see how well it weathers a couple of seasons to see if it's worth the price

This 4x8' raised bed set up easily: after leveling and filling with dirt, it was easy to put in my 25 strawberry plants. They look great, and I'm excited to have a bed where the surrounding yard grass will not constantly be creeping in!
