The Perfect Support for Squash Plants, Naturally
- Sturdy trellis is ideal for squash, cucumber, melons and other vining crops
- Trellising vines increases air circulation to minimize disease problems
- Keeps vines and fruits off soil for a cleaner, better harvest
Simply open this A-frame, "plant" it in your garden or raised bed and you have a sturdy and attractive support for squash and other vining crops. Natural, untreated cedar is long- lasting and will weather to a silvery gray patina. Vertical slats are hinged at the top, and pointed at the bottom so you can easily push them into the soil to anchor the A-frame for added stability. Large grid openings make harvesting a snap.

- great concept
- Flimsey wood construcion
- Acorn Squash vine control
Very expensive for being made of wooden lats & and plastic hinges stapled to the wood. Don't know if it will make another season. Probably good for small fruit bearing plants,eg;pickling cukes. Shipping price 25% the cost of the product. There goes my $1000.00 dollar entry. I think I would be a great Beta site customer reviewing products due to the fact I purchase quality products in which I recomend & purchase yearly. First product I was disappointed in.
- Cheaply constructed
I thought it was very cheaply constructed for the price. I have put it where my squash are and I will see how it works. There's no way to secure it into the ground, which has been a problem when we have rain and wind because it falls over.
I was disappointed after receiving this. The wood is thin and held together with flimsy tape. It needs feet to anchor it in the ground. As it is, the wood sits in the dirt and will rot quickly. I should have bought the all metal support.
- No pointed V- bottoms
- Squash light weight
I find it very attractive and am currently using it for four squash plants. Plan to find another vining squash plant to fit in between the other four plants (two on each side) that climbs more as the others are more bush type squash plants. I even planted a personal sized watermellon in the place under it to make use of the space.
